Mord I found a problem with your portraits. I know you really worked hard on them and getting bad news will be difficult. See the problem is I can't decide which portraits to use. There are so many freakin options!!!! How could you do this to us? For those of us who have pinned Ramadi, Fallujah, Sadr City, Al Muffawaqiyah, Ar-Rifa, Nasiryah and Tal Afar in Google maps... Iraq starts becoming very recognizable. Good luck on the map. Fallujah is not a very good grid, unlike Sadr City I have tried my hand a little and never felt I could get it right.

Yep that is pretty much what every photo I have seen shows. Same as in the article I linked to. I think I have seen those details of the sniper in one of the Sadr city books I have. One of the interesting ing aspects of the fighting that that article describes but is in more detail in what I read was the whole fight for the market. The insurgents in Sadr were a mix of Sadr loyalists, non Sadr Shia militia and criminal organizations. Moqtada’s authority was far from absolute. As the wall went up the criminal element in particular saw their protection racket threatened and threw themselves at the wall in an uncoordinated frenzy. Each block area in Sadr was nominally independent so the attacks were uncoordinated. The insurgents suffered heavily in the walls construction.

Why would one need a module? A battle pack maybe but anyone can start working on scenarios. No need to wait on BF.

That is more in tune with the reality of the actual battle. If you can load the scenarios separately you can then adjust the scenario time for a different experience I think the campaign scenarios are available as individual downloads

Heh for those of us completely uninterested in graviteam, making it more like that is a recipe for not having a game to play. Probably hold likewise for those who play graviteam and aren’t interested in CM. Let each company play to its strength. A hybrid would more likely fail at both.

More usefully. There are a number of scenarios for the airborne and there is a campaign Road to Montebourg. Probably some others as well so no you don’t have to get your fix elsewhere. I don’t believe there is a specific campaign for La Fiere. Not yet anyway

On the same pc there is as far as I know no limit on installs. I have had several at times of games. Only issue might be disk space.

Just create another install and stick Mord’s mod in the game folder mod location. Easy Peasy.

Too big. That is more a crane for a skyscraper construction site. The ones in Sadr city were more typical construction vehicles. That one might be useful for a dockyard.

Little more detailed, they were actually building a wall for a couple objectives. Force the Sadr movement out of mortar range of the green zone as well as shutting off access to the Jamilla market which was a major source of income with protection and black market rackets. If you already have the activation code just go to battlefront site, find your purchases under your profile and download from that link.

Create a new folder call it whatever you want. Move the download into that folder and run from there. What a lot of folks seem to make the mistake of is moving the installer to a folder that has other files or running right from the download folder. Either of those will cause problems.

Yet somehow your scenarios also allow for some really fun infantry based action.

I read spearhead. There were no references to putting armor in buildings. The closest they got was when the Pershing tank in the book shoots a building to have it collapse on a pz IV. There is a Panther in that fight that lies in wait near the rr station possibly in an underpass. I also don’t recall any particular instances of an at gun so placed but the main characters in the story are all armor crews.

Add warmer waters feed more intense storms. Big win for me in California is climate change “probably” has no impact on earthquakes. Then again if the Yellowstone super dome blows it won’t matter. One nice thing about being old. Nature only has so much time left to mess with me.
