Well ASL seems to have taken no offense and perhaps he is right that it is simply translation/language issues. If so my apologies. For reference though for a native english speaker, many of your posts are very aggressive. Yes that is kind of how internet communications seem to have gone. well if it makes you feel any better, I formatted my old main drive this week when I got my new PC.. before copying over my my docs folder. lost a bunch of stuff from CMSF2 that I hadn't backed up yet. Fortunately not everything, but a good amount of work on my Sadr city map went up in smoke.

I always install over my existing directory without deleting. However I do keep backups (well most of the time) of my documents folder files. Now that I have one drive I just make sure that includes my BF my docs folder. Wish I had done that a week ago.....

I'd stay away from the Russian Campaign in CW if I were you. Just sayin. And for what it is worth during Beta Testing I had a glorious time with Studienka. My infantry took a huge bite out of the Russian assault.. hiding in bushes and buildings, sneaking along culverts, scrounging PFs off their dead comrades. CMRT isn't my favorite title, but that was one of my favorite scenarios.

It should not delete mods. Installing over an existing copy just over writes. Now on the other hand if you are me setting up a new PC and you format your old main drive before copying over your documents folder... yeah I did that this week. Fortunately I do have saves of all my mods, but I wiped out quite a bit of work I had done on Sadr city and a couple other maps I was making are gone forever.

My experience so far in CW is treat your infantry not too far different than late WW2. Get yourself positioned for side and rear shots. And note your range is far superior to WW2 weapons. Anyone who thinks they can scoff at LAWs and Dragons is gonna be in for a rude awakening. Definitely not as bad as Javelins but you can still serve up some hurt. BMPs and BTRs are a nice target, especially if their crunchies are still mounted. As for the Russian side. ATGM heaven. I learned to really like the BRDM 2 ATGM variant
