  1. You may have accidentally hit the bail out hotkey or button. If this happens the crew will just exit the vehicle and it remains intact with its icon and all. If you find the two man/three man crew? just tell them to move back into the vehicle.
  2. lol, maybe they got bored and are now playing airplane.
  3. I dont think any smart Stryker crewman would stop and think, "maybe if I shoot my .50cal at this T-72, I might dammage his sensors/kill someone who is unbuttoned". In real life they would probably say "O, S&*#!",pop smoke and try to get out of LOS ASAP with as little fuss and contact as possible. Besides, how many of your .50cal rounds do you think would actually hit the T-72 while you are freaking out and trying to get away? The smoke works very fast these days, it definately would help give an instant screen.
  4. So far 1.03 seems pretty cool. One BUG I am having though is that sometimes vehicles will stop moving along their plotted courses when they reach the start of the next segment in their plotted path, dont remember seeing this in 1.01 or 1.02. I'm have to replot to get them moving. The bug is occuring maybe once out of every 15 or 20 multi part vehicle patchs. Also, I really dont know if my very bad game performance is a bug or not, maybe you all or someone from BF could tell me. Its been this way since the beggining. I'm getting really low framerates with this hardware config on these settings. I'm running CM:SF on balanced level graphics. OS: Windows XP pro MOBO: Intel DG965wh CPU: Core 2 E6600 RAM: 2GB of DDR2 800 GFX-Card: ATI Radeon X1900 Sound Card: Creative Audigy 2zs all drivers/bios current Sound like a bug or is the game just this way? thanks for any help
  5. Yeah, I've seen that previously, I just want to know about possible under the hood stuff, not really how visibility modifiers affect sensors and such.
  6. that would really help the patch withdrawel symptoms alot, just a little taste
  7. I would also like to know how wind and all the other environmental conditions affect the game mechanics. Temperature obviously affects fatigue and wind obviously affects smoke. Does wind and/or temperature affect artillery or air support missions/weapons in any way? Can IR guided weapons be affected by IR background clutter in the game? Does a strong wind significantly affect ballistics, rockets and missles in this game, especially older Russian wire guided missiles ones?
  8. My thoughts exactly Bradley Dick, I keep dreaming about what those massive human wave attacks accompanied by a hurrah! will look like. Also, cant wait for the massive tanks battles, ala Kursk, with all the fire and craziness and crews bailing. I go into my happy place when I think of it.
  9. >------------ BEQUEEF ! ------------< ---------- DO YOU FEEL IT ? -----------
  10. lol, when I saw the title of this thread I was like WHERE? I didnt see it on the downloads page, then I went into a brain frenzy trying to think where else BF would release it to. Evil One
  11. Lol, they look like some of the people down here in South Carolina, all I have to say about the people down here is that I tend to stay inside most of the time and never ever go to Wallmart to avoid contact with the most extreme varieties.
  12. The release probably will be late in the day thursday. extreme crushing depression grips me, I may not make it through this night. I hereby bequeef my cat to BF, its currently enroute to your office as we speak, my boxers are now on auction, any takers? they will be worth millions in a few years.
  13. Funny Stuff about the sediments, especially since I'm a geologist. I'll have to say that as a corny joke at work. I would also like to add that I really thought that post by Bahger was was overly arrogant, harsh and filled with baseless assumptions. Why do you blame BF so much for releasing the game in its current state, they HAD to by contract. Why are you rubbing how crappy the game is in their face? has their post-release support for the game been sub-par in any way? If not, why throw around so many negative vibes. be cool
  14. Is the patch really scheduled for release at that time, or is that just Bullescheiße.
  15. I also would like to add my appreciation of you and your team. With the amount of hours you all work and the whole no vacation for a long time thing, I dont see how any of you keep your wives.
  16. I think having dead soldiers greyed out would be an awesome idea. I've found myself trying to figure out if a group might have lost a man while I wasnt looking or the group always had those weapons and number of men. I dont think red would be a good color because the color red is used to highlight soldiers that are severly wounded and in need of medical attention. Leaving dead soldiers in the list in any form would be an improvement though, it really helps to know what you have lost.
  17. Just wanted to know if 1.03 is still on track for release today? If not, O well, I'm sure there is a good reason, just checking up.
  18. Just received my hardcopy today. It smells of Winooski, VT I almost passed out after opening the box
  19. Maybe they will just totally skip the Marines module and go for the "SYRIA: Ancient Battles" module.
  20. Was that T72 the high end TURMS-T kind ? These are tough as heck, I had one of these take four to five Javelin hits before being disabled or knocked out. I think its their newer reactive armor or something, but these seem to take a beating pretty well.
  21. Oh boo, Steve has explained why the game is in the state it is many times. They are working very hard trying to fix it.
  22. Giving a Javelin back would be a nice add on feature, maybe you could just click the aquire button again, which would let you move items both ways instead of just out. That seems pretty simple.
  23. If I worked the hours of an average game developer I would go insane. I really do not know how you all do it. You sure dont get the credit you deserve for all of your personal and family time that is sacrificed. Salute to the devs for their hard work
  24. I like cheese .... seriously though, I could see how CM games could become mostly a pirated titles, but most people I know wouldnt spend their time downloading it even if they could get it free. Its sad that people need flashing lights and super fantastic visuals to make them think they will like a game. I wish I could force CM on a bunch of PC gamers and then get their opinions after a month or so. [ August 15, 2007, 11:39 PM: Message edited by: Statisoris ]
