Yes I have never really had much experience with QBs. I could not purchase units if I didn't have a clue as to how they work. A couple of tries vs AI, the AI did not do well.

Have you figured out a way against the AI?

Don't mix up CMBB and CMAK mods. Some units are numbered the same but some are not.

If you can learn to use McMMM you can swap out those mods to see which ones you like best. Even swap in gridded for setup and swap out for turn 1. DD's are good as is the OSF from Eichenbaum.

And the upload date is not as important as the bmp "modified on date"

If you already installed Astro Cats and they are older, yes you can install Andrew's non-cmmos and overwrite the older versions. Yes it would be best to sort it out first. Chances are good that the bmps are the same and you won't see a difference anyway.

Oh I forgot about all the ones over at CMHQ. I will try to put together a list unless Andrew has one to post (I hope).

It goes something like this. CMBB comes out in 2002 (or whenever) Andrew Mods in 2003 Crash Astro Cat uploads. Andrew uploads. Andrew finds mistakes or BFC patches have changed things and Andrew updates his mod with a different date. MikeT and team or someone, converts Andrew's mods to CMMOS format for use with CMMOS mod manager. I have Andrew's mods from the USA CDV SE disc plus all the ones you are confused about. I basically went through all the zips looking for the ones with the latest dates on the bmps.

Back in late 2003 the cmmods computer crashed and all was lost. Astro Cat is a CM player who had backups of other peoples mods that he took the time to upload for you and me. Thanks go to him.

Andrew's CMBB FJ set 2 looks to have the camo of the figurine. It needs a different collar and renumber. Whoever does the scenario needs to tell what month, year, and infantry they are using before the mod can be done.

Small Battles, Obong Ni Pass 1950 Axis exit, no flags. I have played both sides several times. vs Axis AI, the AI goes for the exit, and doesn't do it the same way every time.

A silly question, do you have 2 video plugs on the computer? On board and video card? Could you have plugged the monitor into the on board and it doesn't have enough VRAM?

Last night I had a PZIIC shot at a few times before it was knocked out. I searched the battlefield and replays over and over and I still don't find a single unit or poof of smoke. I did see the round flying once. May be an anti tank rifle. You can't do that in RTS, FPS, or Turn Based. Keep the WEGO and replay in the game BFC.

Set FOW to NONE will allow you and your enemy to see all the units on the battlefield. Try playing something small vs AI that way as a learning tool. As you get better, up the FOW.

No, I copied and pasted the cross on the left over the star on the right in MS paint. Then click, drag and cut around the B to B, flood fill black. Since you mentioned the VC I remember Juju's CMBO last seen icon mod with all the nifty medals. I may try something with that. I also made a CDV or BFC intro screen from the CMBO 11260 ? bmp. The flags seemed to fit the 39-40 theatre.
