I did use the CMBO mod to put snowy wheels and frame tops on my Allied guns. Shoot me a banger, can't get them here. Pic reminded me of mash, now I'm hungry.

I am playing Hans' Saar Bridgehead op. In the editor I see fords. The first battle is frozen, blizzard, the water is ice. The second battle is cold, water is not ice, I don't see the fords now. Ops are weird.

David, the problem with your 250/8 is the same as I had with the BO snowy ambush. The area on the front side. In BO that area came from the side bmp. In AK it comes from the top down bmp. The BO modders didn't finish that area on their top down bmps.

This is the thread I was thinking of. However that was not true in the final analysis. Some guns share bmps in CMAK, but if you ww one it wws the other. If I grau my CMAK German late war 20mm AA my Brit 20mm Oerlikon AA is also grau.

My next advice, for Windows PC, navigate to your CMAK folder. Make a copy of the bmp folder and rename it originalbmp. Then you can start modding and have a backup. The other thing I do is rename the scenarios folder (after playing most of those) to origscenarios. Make a new folder named scenarios. Download new scenarios somewhere. Move or copy or unzip them if zipped into the scenarios folder that you created. That way you have the battles and ops that came with the CD seperate from the new ones. You can always copy from the origscenarios to scenarios for the ones you haven't played. Otherwise your menu gets to be pages and pages.

cold = water frozen = ice Your troops can walk on ice. In the editor it will show as water, in game as ice. Plot a vehicle move line to the ice and see if the line is red or green.

CMHQ turn off your firewall

I can't find the thread but there is a rant by Redwolf about turret speeds in CMBB. Soviet arty delay made me crazy at times. Pillboxes are a little different as in killing them.

Snowy vs Whitewash Most of the Bulge scenarios are in mud or light snow. IMO ww and white smocks would not be used unless the ground was white and expected to stay that way. I prefer to use the snowy mods. I tried using CMBO snowy ambush 251s but the engine uses different bits of the bmps to cover the 3d frames. I have a 251/9 that is ok. I will work on the PZIVJ this weekend. I'm not a grog but there is a lack of tri color and ambush for CMAK and snowy versions. So Wicky, if you are looking for a project, snowy German AFVs please And Allied guns.

Wicky did the snowy Daimler and Humber. At cmmods. There is a US winter pack at CMHQ 3rd party mods that says it includeds artillery. The 40mm may share bmps with the German gun, only one at a time can be winter in CMBB, maybe the same in BO. Just guessing.

Sorry to butt in Tooz Astro Cat is the one who reloaded lost mods. Alexoscar does his own excellent mods. Snowy ones too.

Tooz, you add 50000 not put a 5 in front of a number. 8301 + 50000 = 58301 14400 + 50000 = 64400 104400 + 50000 = 154400 114400 + 50000 = 164400 it's all in the wrist For uniform numbers, download Andrew's CMAK mods and see what the numbers are.

Good, keep going. I used Tracer's Snow Panther Pack. Polygons are different shapes and I have some pink spots. Good enough for now, but a proper set would be nice.

The new one works. The zip has an extra mac file for every bmp. I just tell McMMM to skip them. Looks great next to somebody's VG late with snow from BO.
