If you play scenarios like The Mace, you'll need to watch rifle ammo overall But looking at it on a turn by turn basis is way over the top for me. More like "right, now where are these guys supposed to go next, do they have enough ammo?" Writing anything down from one turn to the next would be way past analysis I'd do. I have learn the hard way that this is utterly vital. I try try try to have the discipline to click through (using fast forward button) the whole of each turn at level 8 or 9 (whatever fits the map to the screen) to spot unexpexcted enemy icons. The number of times you get "an OMFG, where did _that_ come from" really rewards this procedure... GaJ

It's definitely still in CMFI in some form. I have had single men running off from their team for no reason into the fray of battle, _miles away_ and being shot. It's rare enough that it hasn't upset me at all, messed up any plans. GaJ

(PS: seriously: if anyone knows how icons really work, I could do with a lesson. I think the problem is that I started with a hi-res png of a smiley, whereas under windows icons are probably supposed to be a small number of colors. So the shading in my icon image gets all raggedy. If anyone has a suitable low-res or appropriate format smile I can start with, I'd love to use it. GaJ)

Yeah, I have been tinkering around with making the no turn waiting icon more distinctive in colour, though still "subtle" rather than "in your face" Of course, I could make it modable and you could supply your own! GaJ

LOL. I am no artist, this is for sure, and the current icon has a raggedy edge in my Windows Systray that I'm not happy with, so I'll no doubt keep tweaking it. If anyone out there knows how to do a nice looking systray icon, I'd love to get a better version! (It looks fine on my Mac ) GaJ

IMHO Cat's Chasing Dogs is a broken scenario, FWIW. A beautiful map, a beautiful story, but misconceived victory conditions, which left me with a sad "WTF?" sensation at the end. YMMV. You should be able to alt-tab away from CMx2 on a PC, I think. GaJ

... update: yes, CMSFMODs looks like it had the same "freeze" applied to it that CMMODs did recently. So - current status: it's broken for sure. I'll try to fix when I can. GaJ
