I can confirm that rockets are a deadly weapon. Terif used it in one of my early games ag him. With some research, trainingcenter london and london port, aír cover one can do nothing against them later in the game. He anhilated my hole fleet with his rockets. But this was only one of my bad experiences ag him.

they were at 10 strenghpoints each....i dont think it was luck....just as i mentioned before....just operated, no HQ support as HQ also just arrived, low readiness, no entrenchment.... as far i can recall carrier did 3-4 damage ships 2 each Which units are support by any HQ is recalculated on the beginning of your own turn, in case of transfered HQ they support no unit until your turn . I saw higher losses in one of my games ag serbian, he operated 3 airunits + Hq to sicily and i could destroy one air, and damaged the other ones heavily with my ships and CV. To avoid such "surprise" attacks i first operate the hq and place the airfleets within range of Hq, but if possible not in interception or combat range and then fly the already under command being untits to the location i want them.

Iron Ranger, I m not really sure but i noticed this several times. Units just operated are extremely vulnerable even when you operate a HQ with them as the HQ will command that units when your round is starting.

Ag all others this gambit means a quick and simple victory within only a few rounds. Maybe i´m the only one who is aware of both sides..knowing what ppl think,why they think so, why they write certain things. Terif... Zapp your were several times only a tic from reconiling. I noted several steps from both of you even it were only slight steps. But everytime when one was ready to reconcile the other was writing again things hurting the other one. Proudness is poison if you wanna settle bad blood spoiled. Your disput was the beginning of the downfall of the league and the SC-Forum and finally of the game. Now distrust rules,bad posts are exchanged, and some others are pouring fire into the blooding wound. Man SC is a great strategy game, its thought to have fun and to have great games, to compete each other and to make friends. I played alot of ppl and so far and i have a great relation to all my opponents, no difference if i won or if i lost. I think we are all old enough to realize this isnt´t it. Is it really so important to be always rite.....?? Why not admit that something was going the wrong way? Can´t you stay above the things?? another thing.... I still do so many mistakes and go into traps ... i´m sure nobody considers me to be a cheater ..rather to be a fair and good but not perfect player. That means not that somebody doing no faults is a cheater. So finally you all have two possiblities....close this tread no question, no answers anymore as its over.....what do you want to say else?? Or you act as grown men...appologize for some harsh words and settle your dispute.... You can´t make the AI to a human. If you want all this points then i would suggest to play other human players. The AI in SC is one of the best i have ever encounterd in any wargame. In all other games the AI really sucks. But one have to understand that is a programming issue and you can never give the AI a tricky human brain.

I think that now where its out that there is such a sniffing tool people which used it in the past won´t use it in the future. We ain´t that stupid not to realize when a opponent forsee every move. If this is obviously a short post in the forum will expose this cheater and nobody will play this person again. The sad thing is that we will now have some mistrust ag each other. The only solution would be to play only people you really trust.

My entry date is not conform to my entry into the SC-Community as i played CMBB before. So i m member here since 5. Sept ´03 where i wrote my first post....which gives 46 days with 397 posts meanwhile....this is an average of 8.6 posts a day. :eek: So if you dont mind i will take the gold bars and you the cookies ok? The SC-Cup is running since about 5 weeks. Beside that some players withdrew from it i noticed that some players have not played one game yet. It seems that people lost their interest and some others never had interest. It´s time to start a new event for really interested players... Ryder-Cup or something else......is the SC-Community really so rusty??? Maybe people are paralyzed by waiting for SC2?? Man !!! winter is coming, it´s getting cold and dark outside we should have plenty of time isnt it??

Man and i thought i was playing so weak...i only lost against a simple cheat programm. It´s like loosing ag Deep Blue. I think that most of you know each other very well and that you are pretty sure that there is no cheater. Once when i played Panzergeneral 3D i played ag a person cheating against me. It was proved because the league where i played, and still play, has a program which is able to find out if one has cheated or not. But the Highlight is that he lost against me despite of cheating. :eek: So please if you cheat ag me use enough MPP to win. By the way every single SC-League game is cheated....why? because of the bid system we are using the editor

Jersey... after scrolling half an hour i finally saw the hole picture I wonder if you have one filling a hole page of a tread :eek: I don´t know (P)Kuniworths offtopic posts. Maybe he started quite serious and was sliding into offtopic areas and maybe he was already warned and banned once before but when i compare actions from Lucky or some other guys to his treads i dont see the point. Thats not really fair. So i have no other chance but to invite the moderators to cancel the ban in the name of Kuni. Please!!! After all he is lurking arround the forum because he has bought the game and has an active...maybe to active part in the SC-Community. And since we all are running out of serious topics because everything has been already discused a little distraction is appreciated and can´t be the reason for this harsh punishment. Any possibility to allow Kuniworth at least to post in the opponent finder forum. Without this possiblity it´s almost impossible to find opponents.
