We see posts like that from time to time. Usually the first and last post. Personally I find them quite refreshing, because it usually brings some interesting news from the side of BF.

Well, that's precisely what BF is working on. Untill then CM2 will do nicely. Still haven't seen a game that comes even close to CM. P.s. NOT looking forward to the agony of waiting for new base games and modules again.

Well, perhaps it did happen, but was excluded/erased from the German war diary. Doesn't explain why the Soviets don't mention it. Or perhaps some Chinese wizz kid has been creative with photoshop. It's a mystery, life is full of them.
