Ummm....don't think your going to get an in-depth discussion of Battlefront competitors on thee Battlefront FORUM.  You should ask your question on a non-publisher forum.

My number one wish is to have working and realistic pathfinding routines or at least being able to give "follow the road" order to a group of vehicles.

In my current game I've received a company size tank reinforcements. Now I have to give a detailed movement orders to every single vehicle, just to make sure that they arrive ok to the frontline. It's  completely mundane, boring and unproductive task. It often makes me quit the scenario that I was excited about, because I feel that I'm better off reading a book or watching a series than repeating over and over this exercise.

According to BF, that issue now only exists in CMBN due to some conflict between a certain type of bocage and the retreat logic code.  Since none of the other CMx2 titles have bocage then it should not be seen in those other games.
Currently playing a CMFI scenario and have so far not seen it.

Made these guys this morning. Stalled out hard on the Armored Infantry. Spent way too long accomplishing nothing so I am done for today.

That has to be the least helpful comment so far. You are essentially saying "make this game like those other games but with one other thing". Go to those other game forums and advocate for a WEGO feature.
Or talk about what specific features you think would be a good fit in CM.

I am not personally attacking you, just pointing out a fact. We've been interacting for at least 12 years and I know your personality fairly well at this point. You will say one thing and then contradict yourself down the road. That's all. Like I said, once they did what you ask you'd be complaining about it six months later.
You can have your ideas, that's fine, but I am not gonna not respond to ideas that I feel are detrimental to my enjoyment of the games. Vehicles and equipment are a big part of why I love CM, especially seeing that they are one of the few game titles that doesn't hold back. BF gives us stuff that have rarely been seen. But once again you assume the way you play is the only way people play therefore ALL these other vehicles/units aren't being used. I've seen many times where you have pointed out that the forum doesn't necessarily represent the majority of CM players yet now, during this debate, somehow your view does. See, contradiction.
But it is what it is. LOL. You drive me crazy sometimes, but I don't hate you or anything. So, unless I outright call you names don't take my comments personally.

Let alone not everyone plays just scenarios. Some people like QBs. Some people play QB multiplayer. Etc. I personally love all the weird s*** most people ignore. I want more, not less. Then again, Erwin is a master of contradicting himself so there's that. AS I said the LAST time he brought this up, he'd be the first one b*tching the second something was missing. And I'd be right there pissed off, beside him...difference is I wouldn't have been asking for BF to not do stuff before hand.

One of the big differences in real life is that AA isn't confined to the size of a combat mission map: when air support in game is circling the map at a few kms distance it can only be fired at by whatever AA the victim has brought along, whereas in reality the planes would likley be having to contend with more significant AA fire from other positions in depth.

I take planes as often as its sensible (strafe-only P-47s are 30pts in CMFB- so basically the only good reason not to take a handful is the weather) and I can tell you that while AA isn't hugely effective, neither are the planes. I've seen them strafe Panthers they can't destroy instead of halftracks full of infantry that they would collander, I've seen them strafe dead infantry in a wood instead of platoons of infantry running in the open... they're not exactly a reliable asset.

They are vulnerable to AA- my planes abort all the time, sometimes they get shot down- but I find the best way to deal with enemy airpower is to have a realistic appreciation of how effective it is, plan to account for it, then ignore it. My airpower does very little physical damage, but has immense psychological impact on human players... which you can discount if you choose to.

Dang you couple hundred year old brits are touchy.   2 items. A general issue in all titles that needed to be fixed and a secondary issue with hedgerows in CMBN.  One is done, the other is acknowledged. There is a bit of other stuff going on like CMFI and CMRT so just maybe calling the one guy who has been doing a great job lately in providing updates Johnny underpants isn’t the best way to reward the effort to be more communicative.   Unless you’d prefer BF to just go back to the old method.

The "Z folder?"  On my PC, the only game that recognizes the "Z folder" for mods is CMBN.  All my other Combat Mission games including CMFB only recognizes mods placed in the User Data/Mods folder which is the documents directory.
From my understanding, there was a change in Windows that caused Battlefront to change the installation location and directories on the games released after CMBN which is why it's the only game that uses a "Z folder" for its mods.

Wow, CarlWAW.  That was really awful what you wrote.  I am not being 'milked'.  When they have new content, I give them money.  When they don't, I don't.  If they are scamming us they really need to do a better job of it.
Yes, please move on.  You are distracting the developers from making new content for fanboys like me.

I'm seeing this too.  Fallschirmjaegers are not using their own uniform skins in any scenario or campaign.  How did that get by the testers?
It's not a game-killing bug, but it is an immersion killing one.  I really hope we don't have to wait 2.5 years for it to be corrected.

Yeah, that's one of the reasons I never cared much for "tournaments", especially back in the old days of CM1. A lot of those guys were so arrogant an took playing way to seriously.
I don't like losing but I enjoy the stories that can come from a good defeat just as much as from a killer win. When I play as a weaker side, like Syrian Combatants or Italians, I adjust my goals to causing as much hurt as I can. If I knock out a few good tanks and rack up a couple dozen bodies, I consider it a "win" even when I get my ass handed to me. LOL. Expectations, brother!

Well, bravo, but that's not what the game was ever meant to be nor will ever remotely be close to being. No offense, but the percentage of CM players who a give a flying eff about things like taxis in a warzone and street gangs is well in the low single-digit range.

Just joining the chorus in the hopes something will be done about it fairly quickly: I'm also seeing this "fleeing towards the enemy by way of the nearest hedgerow gap" behavior in CMBN.  Disappointing.
Waiting 2.5 years for a patch to fix highly questionable infantry behavior under fire only to see it introduce ANOTHER form of highly questionable behavior?  Geez-o-man.  Between that, the CMFI patch zapping the Fallschirmjaeger uniforms, and complete silence as to the alleged upcoming modules for CMRT and CMFI, 2019 has so far been a rough year for BF and its fans.  I truly hope the year ends on a far better note.
