  1. I suddenly realize that I had luck with my last 300m Katyushka fire ... I had troops at 400 meters of the TAP but the nearest landed at 200m of my guys. Anyway some of the rockets landed in other directions at 500m of the TAP or even more.
  2. In a BO game I had a Panzer IV immobilized in the middle of a village, during the battle of the bulge. My opponent (maybe drunk or I didn't how did he do) attacked the poor tanks with 4 Shermans through the snow ... but in 2 minutes the 4 Shermans were knocked out in flames ... Of course that was enjoyable : one "yeepee" after each tank was shot down ... Well I think we all have thousand of sweet experiences playing CM, but I didn't remeber lots of great moments ...
  3. Quite surprising and rare soviet camo. Very Original and good looking anyway.
  4. Can somebody help me to find which bmp file contains the little icons who represents countries or type of units involved in the battle, in the scenario list ? It's quite hard to find in the whole bmp directory ! Paulus
  5. Wicky posted a slightly modified version of your MOD, and I have a question to ask to you ... can you give me your Email if you're still alive ? Thanks If somebody knows his emails it should also solve the problem Paulus
  6. That's not the true reason Panzerman. After June 1940 there were hundreds of S-35 Somua but hey were belonging to the Vichy Army. French only used "captured" heavy weapons to the Vichy government, who still had a lot of Somua especially, in 1941 and 1942 (obviously in Syria and North Africa)
  7. Yup, that's what j2d is talking about. Don't know how it could be ok on your computer, but I wasn't drunk when I saw that
  8. Michael, try editing a scenario, July 1943. Put an Italian airborne platoon on the map ... and look at the graphics !!! That's the most surprising camo I've ever seen ... Paulus
  9. I think the operation ends at end end of a battle if the attacker reach the end of the map. It is correct But remeber that sometimes the map is larger than than the sector covered by one battle.
  10. Hmmm ... surely hard to find. Ask the webmaster for a detailed account of the battle. I you need a map, just tell me the location or the nearest city and I think I can send you something useful. Paulus
  11. I'm currently looking for a list of the components of that Mobile Group. Does somebody have a complete list of the units (with their exact names if possible) that were part of that Mobile Group ? Thanks, Paulus
  12. Rune's map is very interesting, but there's a complete pack of accurate maps covering the whole Italia on Emule. Look for that : Italian Digital maps calibrated for touratech QV TTQV It's only 81Mb to D/L. Wood cover isn't represented but each road, house is indicated (even if it appears to be 1990's topography) Very helpful anyway. Paulus
  13. That a vote for; but only if there won't be thousands of rulesets to manage with (that's a very disturbing problem with CMBB CMMOS)
  14. Don't forget that most of those kind of fight were at long range -500/1300m-; and British superiority was clear in that case, combined with the difference of training and experience ...
  15. Ok, thanks for all these informations. One last request : Do you have a detailed OOB or TO&E for the 135th Rifle Div. ? (if possible ) Thanks anyway Paulus
  16. with 8 identified heavy, and a 3 medium, and one light battery supporting the defence. Gasp  I hope this is for the whole division and not for the defense at Horodyszcze alone. In that case, I think it should be a very interesting scenario. Maybe they had one on-call 152mm and 2 122mm in indirect support, with 76mm guns in the village itself.
  17. Alright I'll have to do some changes to make this scenario looking more historical. Of course, it implies 2 platoons of pioneers to cross the river (the Wosuska ?). I'll represent that by putting some "deep fords" at some places. Horodyszcze was just a big village wasn't it ? Maybe it was defended by no more than a reinforced bataillon of intantry I think. On 11th April I consider ground muddy. Is it plausible ? Paulus
  18. Wow, nice stuff, thanks a lot Andreas  Acutally I'm creating a scenario inspired of a SPWWII battle where elements of the 9th SS-Pz attacks the bridge at Horodyszcze (A brigde belonging to what was called Rollbahn IV, I suppose). According to some history books this attack was launched on the first day of that relief attempt : the 11th April, so in my opinion the 1st Guards Artillery Division and reserve Guards elements are not implicated in this battle. Taking into account these informations, I suppose 1 reinfofced company of the 148th Rifle Div. was occupying Horodyszcze on 11th April, is it right ? Paulus ps : Does it exist Websites upon Soviet (and maybe all countries) OOBs of Divisions, etc ... like on www.skalman.nu ?
