  1. Can you send me the campaign for this mod so I can take a look? Hubert
  2. Agent Smith, I tried running the autosave but it does not look like a repeatable error... if it happens again please don't hesitate to send the offending 'autosave' file or ERROR directory my way again. Hubert
  3. I've sent you an email but unfortunately I cannot repeat the error, i.e. it looks fine on my end... I would suggest an uninstall and full reinstall of the game and patch to see if that resolves the issue for you... remember to back up your work. Nice looking map btw!
  4. Tigleth Pilisar, thanks for the review and I think you hit the nail on the head for exactly what I was after in this second game... glad you seem to be enjoying it Hubert
  5. I'll suggest the same thing as Timskorkn, post your scripts here and describe the situation in game a bit more and I'm sure we can figure out what might be happening on your end.
  6. I believe he just changed the bitmaps and edited the unit properties of existing units, i.e. you can change Corps to a Calvary with the right bitmaps and unit characteristic editing but you cannot add new units beyond the existing slots of units. Hopefully this makes sense. Hubert
  7. This has been fixed for the next patch to work as Blashy described.
  8. Kuniworth, try asking again in a civilized manner and I *might* just be inclined to answer your question.
  9. I don't think there is a maximum but as you suspect it might just slow down quite a bit with lots of units.
  10. I received your file but it looks like you left out the *.cgn file. Can you resend the entire package with this file?
  11. Thanks for the report... I saw that I was missing a single check in the Purchase Unit Dialog in this case so this *should* be fixed for the next patch... a few tests on my end will confirm this.
  12. Best bet is to send me the crashed turn in question, please send either the applicable 'autosave' if you still have it or the contents of the 'ERROR' directory. This way I can see the error (in my code) and correct it for the next patch otherwise if it does not occur on my end through testing it may never be fixed, thanks! Hubert
  13. Otto Kontrol, here is the response with my additions in brackets: * create a large white/grey flag first by just drawing it in photoshop, i.e. no pictures or using a special program. * then there is a photoshop tool which allows you to darken and lighten grey areas... (not sure which one but if you are familiar with photoshop it doesn't sound too difficult to do) * flag is then reduced to the correct size and then you can make several layers of the grey flag in the basic colors (red, blue, yellow etc.). * for every flag needed you can then use these basic layers (i.e. blue, red and white for the French flag etc.) * finally with the erase tool you can make the bottom layers to be seen through the top layers, flattening sevrsal of them when needed. * several complicated items like national coats of arms can then be taken from original flags, pasted and edited. They are so small, that doing it was very easy and the result comes out quite nice Remember I am no artist but hopefully this technique helps, Hubert
  14. AF should entrench... did the AF attack or was it attacked? Essentially entrenchment can be reduced per turn if the unit is attacked and it will not entrench if the AP=0 at the end of the turn, i.e. you moved it, used it in an attack or upgraded it, reinforced it etc.
  15. Wargun, I think the problem here is that before widescreen resolutions became popular the resolutions went in stages where 1024x768 was the only applicable size bigger than 800x600 and smaller than 1280x1024. Now the problem is that with some widescreen screens the width satisfies the minimum requirement but the height does not as in your case, i.e. based on my original design requirements. I'm working to change this down the road so it is more flexible in cases such as yours. If you override can you get it to work?
  16. This looks like the same bug... should be fixed in the next patch.
  17. Agreed and I would eventually like to have this type of behaviour available for the game
  18. Edwin, is this AI behaviour or general naval loop behaviour?
  19. Unfortunately I haven't heard back from him, probably on holidays or just maybe trying to get away from all the original SC2 work . He does have an address but I will guess his preference would be to keep it private... I'll let you know if I ever hear any thing back for sure. In the meantime, any luck with web searches wrt creating this effect in Adobe Photoshop or something similar?
  20. For the first error can you send me your custom campaign with instructions on how to repeat this error? Easiest way for me to see what might be going on, thanks! Send to support@furysoftware.com The second error was reported a few days ago and fixed on my end.... problem is that resource/fortress located within the Polish partition area. As a temporary solution, if you remove it, it should work Ok.
  21. Can you send me the campaign (compressed) and the instruction on where you placed this carrier so I can repeat it on my end? Thanks! Send to support@furysoftware.com
  22. HvS, thanks for the notes and expect further improvements with subsequent patches.
  23. I'm not sure what you mean it reverts to the UK after Denmark surrenders. For example, who forced the surrender of Denmark, Axis or Allied? Also, was it Neutral before it was attacked? Was it already active as an Allied or Axis country? Which Corps got kicked back to Benelux? An Allied or Axis Corps, also which owner country? I only ask as there is a script in place to have Iceland become a separate state when Denmark surrenders and then a subsequent script to have it join the Allies.
