2.
quote:
Originally posted by Lord General MB: Steve....

...exclaimed, "Oh no you don't Mr. March Hare! I'm through with the whole magic mushroom phase (that was *so* 3 decades ago) and now I'm into this whole World War motif... besides - Lewis Carol wouldn't know what to do with a hetzer and 3 conscript volks SMG platoons anyway!" He then pushed the necessary buttons, dials, switches & knobs, (and other stereotypical time machine gizmos). just then the time machine jolted to a halt, Steve & Matt stepped outside and...
 3.
quote:
Originally posted by AndrewTF: I think a Pegasus emblem is not out of line...

Thanks, Andrew. I knew if I pestered you with enough focus and determination (read: a lot) I'd get my wish... I look forward to being shocked and routed in this fine Willys MB soon...
 4. couldn't resist... your jeep mod looks so damn good - a Pegasus insignia could make it irresistible...
 5. Crisp and clean. Excellent work. I know it's a long shot...but...is there any chance at getting the British Airborne "Pegasus" insignia on this beauty? It's the only vehicle that CMBO allows my Devils to drive... I know, B&W pic... but look closely... Airborne Jeeps.

Meanwhile, back at the castle, one of the manatee platoon leaders began hurling bags of deep fried pork rinds at the routing beatniks, who promptly...

He took one look at the point squad of manatee shock troops and exclaimed into his radio, "The last thing I'm gonna engage without proper air support is a platoon of portly water mammals dug in with high ground and the remastered Neil Diamond box set." Strains of "Cracklin' Rosie' were heard as blood curdling screams drowned out the high pitched...

Charles then stated he had no interest in depicting the girl guides TO&E in future versions of CM. At precisely this moment, one of the Manatee's NCOs pointed at the approaching bobsleds and screamed...
 9.
quote:
Originally posted by Vanir Ausf B: You would probably need to shrink the scale down and model the individual units in more detail.

A very intriguing concept; and perhaps no longer CM... But it does sound like a better approach to certain aspects of the theatre. Burma would make for a challenging set of operations & scenarios. However, I think the USMC could be portrayed in their island hopping campaigns after the CM3 rewrite addresses certain engine limitations. As a separate game, though, I think the fortifications of Iwo Jima, for instance, might be an interesting 2 player battle...
 10.
quote:
Originally posted by Amidst_Void: is the next theatre the African Front?

As long as Monty's Eighth gets to wear khaki shorts, the engine rewrite is of little concern...
 11.
quote:
Originally posted by Auswarrior: ...additional features...

Personally, I'd recommend holding out for CM3. That way you not only get the Über-Bren tripod, Boys anti-tank rifle and Digger garrisons at 100% fanaticism [default setting], but you might see more khaki shorts modded for the British Eighth Army.

Not even 200 meters up the road, a recon battalion of paraplegic beatniks with bobsled mounted quad .50 cals silently prepared to swoop down upon our unsuspecting heroes and lay waste to... Of course, this was merely a diversionary tactic, as three crack platoons of beached manatees descended upon the hovel, dug in, and prepared to face the onslaught of über Bren tripods. Further research has shown that...
