The tournaments, I did all 3, are over ⏰ 
Thanks to Slitherine/Matrix and BF.C for organizing these games.
I liked most of the scenarios, in particular those of the 2nd and 3rd round were all excellent, I will go faster by pointing out the only one which frustrated me a little: RT 2nd round, the one where we had Tigers there where we were waiting for KingTigers, and I didn't know that the German had an exit zone.
I had the chance to have opponents in all the scenarios, even if due to the slow rate of dispatch of some of them, we were not able to complete some battles (I play quickly because CM is the only game installed on my PC, the only one I bought, it's still a lot: 6 games).
All my opponents were very good players, only one who was a little dizzy had forgotten his reinforcements at the bottom of the map in the last RT scenario. The battles were particularly difficult, and fought like a game of chess in the last 3 scenarios of the 3 games.
I didn't have any unexpected behavior from the AI, except on BN where my last Panzer near the ruins of the bridge looked for its way in a disorderly and fatal movement. But what a battle my friends! Attacks and counter-attacks 💥 neither of us wanted to give up, it was epic💢
My opponent on the last CW scenario was also particularly tough👍, suspenseful at every turn 🥶nervously exhausting😬.
In RT I checked the rule: tanks attacking a fortified position must not be alone, infantry must precede them. My opponent lost all his T34s, thanks to the PanzerSchek/Faust (my Marder each took a T34 to their grave), while I only lost one T34 by a hit from the artillery. I was about to take all the objectives in both games but we exceeded the time limit while we had around ten turns left.
Will all of these scenarios be available to everyone after the tournament ends?
The excellent instructional videos from Usually Hapless, and the background articles from Mr. Mark Goddard published on the Matrix website, and relayed by Elvis, were very useful to me. I hope we get more.

I did pick the CMBN tourney in his double combo tourney. I just dont have the time to play both. Wish I did as these are excellent fun and a good test of ones tactical skills. These are truly blind, no way for players to peek or pre-play the battles before hand.
Also just wanted to say thanks for the battles from my opponents. I snagged 2nd place in this one but the battles were very hard fought. Enjoyed these very much, cya in the next one! 👍

All depends on what your opponent does, so there will always be outliers in the results.

There was a 10 day extension. I got 3 battles that should be able to finish because of this. I see others still plugging away trying to finish as well. 30 days for 30 turns is pretty tight time-wise. Point being, it shouldnt have been that to begin with. If you finish early consider yourself lucky. I'd rather finish early and wait then not having finished at all. 👍

Yep like 90% of PUPs are fine. Mostly means the AV software never heard of the .exe and wanted to flag it for users just in case you dont recognize it and its harmful.

Man this battle is very bloody and brutal. Right from turn one with both sides turning the church into lead city! Appears I’ll be winning both battles. Pretty tough for the Germans in this one.
+1 to some sort of a reputation system for invitational tourneys! 👍

It happens, just the nature of the beast. Both of my opponents only played one battle and just quit mid game in the other battle. I was winning too, so could have alot more pts but thats just the way it goes sometimes. Dont give up on MP, its by far the best way to play CM. 👍

Yeah that hurts! Have some comfort in knowing its happened to all of us once in awhile.

Took me awhile to find the FO too. I thought, I could be a nice guy and point this out in the forums. Or be a overly competitive snarky bastard and not say anything. I made my choice! 😂 Hey Im in the lead after all, what do you expect, the gloves are off! 🍺

I think we just about made it. Did not know there were overtime in the scenario. Oh and the reason I only send the single file that times was because I lost connection to the server after doing one side and had to go to bed. 
GG. Was a bit of a roller-coaster for me. When I lost 5 t-34s early, it was looking pretty bad. I think I got a bit lucky to pull it back. 
Also I think there is something wrong with the scoring since the German side seems to get all the points from exiting tanks, even if they where not.

Turn extension was a big plus for me this round, i'm not sure if im in the same time zone for any of my opponents maybe bar one and you will always have days you can't get a turn played for each player so a few extra days to get to the end of the battle was much appreciated.

Yeah, really sorry for the late start. Unlucky that our times zones ended up so different, normally I would have no problem banging out a few turns a day. I was planning to contact you about finding a time I could stay up late and get some turn done. But now that some more days have been added that seems to solve it.
I agree some more days would be nice. Since sometimes you realistically can only do one turn a day due to time zones, and it is probable that you are going to miss a few days.
ps. Give that SMG gunner a medal. An entire mag of MG fire, my god what is that guy made of.

@BFCElvis any chance we can get extensions to these rounds of only 30 days? If not this rd then maybe next one? Its just not enough time. I see we're down to 10 days left now and may not finish my battles. Despite decent turn rates from my opponent. Fingers crossed he knows how to cease fire and the deadline to do so.
Slitherine is hurting their own tournaments with these short rds. I'm thinking the limit should be +10 to the battle time. So a 20 min battle gets 30 days or a 30 min battle gets 40 days.

Yeah guys theres scoring bugs in the surrender games. Its getting looked into. Not sure if it can be manually corrected or not. I lost a bunch of pts too. Bear in mind the CM tourney system is still a work in progress. Elvis will be around with details soon.

Im not sure how the timed out feature works. But there have been some scoring issues, I think some players lost pts. I know I lost alot.
Also keep in mind guys, these tourneys are still a work in progress. Its not perfect and will never be, but they are trying to make the best of it.

Just because Steve talks about the Ukraine war doesn’t mean jack squat. You’re equating two things that are completely unrelated. It’s not logical. Does he need your permission to talk to his relatives on the phone too? How about running to the grocery store for food? 😗
