Which is clearly the more controversial portion of the game since players can actually be on the Taliban team, err I mean the Opposing Forces team now. EA is milking this controversy for all it's worth. But oh boy, I can just now hear the 8 yr old spazoid kids yelling into the mic "Allah Akbar". :eek:

I do recall Steve or Moon saying there will in fact be a bundle for CMSF and all it's modules. Once of course NATO is released this new bundle will replace the existing one. Mostly depends on your money situation. But as others mentioned, there's a lot of gaming to be had right now with CMSF+Marines+Brits.

This begs the question, why drive when you can fly? So then why bother with the Transformer-like Humvee to chopper. Just go with a light chopper or something. Still gotta train up a chopper pilot either way.

Yeah man, like SO said, the CMSF forum is also considered the CMN forum too. At least until they put up a new forum for the new game. Three of the six sticky threads at the top are about the new WWII game. Here's a screenshot of the new game, graphics look amazing!

On that note, it would really be great if there was some kind of a campaign overview in-game, like the flowchart posted. So you can easily see a campaign structure but also to pick and play a battle you couldn't before. At least not without replaying the whole campaign. And while I'm at it, how about some kind of "Force Pool" or "OOB" button in campaigns where the player can see his forces/reinforcements. Best example of something like this is in Paper Tigers campaigns with a "Force Pool" scenario where see your chewed up forces in a motor pool. Anyways, thanks for posting the info Webwing. IIRC Steve did mention that kill counts are definitely on the to-do list. No idea if this will return with CMN or not.

This just in, Steve owns a theater. So the rumors are true after all, they're all rich over at Battlefront. So when do we start getting discounts? At least for those of us that been around here for a decade.

I take care of my occasional racing fix with Dirt 2. Got it for only $5 from a Steam sale. I was hoping for more MP with it but it's basically a ghost town. If this F1 game has more people playing online then I may be interested.

You really don't get anything special other than the NATO paint job on the DVD in the jewel case, no manual. But you can get a like alot of DVD-Rs for $10 and make your on backups. I think the money saving choice is obvious.
