1. Yessir, don't have to give me any more hints, fetching the rakes and cultivator now, sir. No sir, I won't forget the snail bait, no sir. The bleachers are lined up on the right. No pushing, no shoving, ..well.. Tickets available at the gate. edited to remind Vadr, he's gotta wait just a little more as my opponents can be a bit slow in sending "The Turn." Which is the secret misspelled sequel to "The Birds". [ February 17, 2003, 01:50 AM: Message edited by: Egbert ]
2. You have a point and don't know it. Think about why there are no archdukes left. Proximity is the difference. We humans are blessed in not being able to feel the pain of every loss, but certainly feel the pain of personal loss, the closer it is, the more it hurts. Those of us that are human, feel empathy for our friends when they have a loss. It is part of what binds us together. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers to you and yours Jeff. Your father-in-law is one of those that adds more to others lives than we can really know.
3. Well, If I were to say, which I do not (but will anyway), I'd vote for Senechai . As he has risen me to serf, his entire instruction and training has amounted to "Don't post while drunk." (which obviously didn't work) and "You write funny." The most uninstructive and sorry excuse for training, from a solid kanigget, I've to witness in years of observation. The pool is lesser for his contribution. Don't send me a setup. I'll learn it on my own. Mind you, the suffering will be prolonged for the others, but what do you care anyway?
4. If you had time to draw that much breath, you had time to send me a turn.
5. Do you have license to troll for Bauhaus' in these waters, son?
6. In the interest of brevity and general welfare, and since I have absolutely nothing to say, I've decided to post nothing here, at all. Thank You. edited this nothing post to add yet more nothingness. Ahhh, can't you just bask in the warm Sarte. Vadr will just have to keep his pants on. I'm a bit busy. A reminder,in a week or so, that death is too good for you, would be nice. 'Til then "Toodles." [ February 12, 2003, 03:36 AM: Message edited by: Egbert ]
7. quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Originally posted by dalem: all my turns are out the voices in my head shriek quite bestial they are -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Your turns have been un-outed (not that there's anything...)
8. Nothing to see here, please move along. [ February 11, 2003, 12:28 PM: Message edited by: Egbert ]
9. The Archbishop of Canterbury has played his writ, called the nobles of the houses to Blackheath with Elijah. The king has been (kinda) crowned and civil war averted. Plague in Coventry If I owe you a turn older than a week, send me a post. Your last turn was lost in storms at sea. [ February 08, 2003, 11:46 PM: Message edited by: Egbert ]
10. We were in the pub, my wife spotted the segment and recognised it. She mumbled something along the lines of, "Oh no, not in the pub too." Nice job.
11. Using icons qquals inability to communicate? That's a rather brash statement, how would you justify it?
12. Did I mention the hardcore material? Yes, I did. If you wish, I'll only write a single sentence per paragraph so that you won't get confused.
13. First, if you need icons, you can't communicate. Learn a language, it helps. Second Izaak Perlman is a talented entertainer, The childlike performer you prefer is a no class wanker. Study the differences. Third, you make assumptions on my own experience without reference. I have heard nearly all his stuff and have problems reconciling the obvious impossibility of his actually getting worse. Since you don't like ilustrated metaphor: Sodd Off. Edited to point out how disappointed I am with my own post. So longwinded, so technical-manually creative. Please excuse the loud banging noises, it's my head smacking the writing tree, trying to force something in by pnuematically enhanced osmosis. Sir Berli it's as bad as you say, or worse. [ February 07, 2003, 03:09 PM: Message edited by: Egbert ]
14. Amazing comment when taking your sig link into account and your number of posts since inception. Hence,
15. I want to see the dusty Denise Richards summer crew uniform mod. edited to add: dusty and torn options would be good [ February 07, 2003, 01:15 PM: Message edited by: Egbert ]
16. I pronounce this thread: Officially Hijacked especially considering it's the officials that hijacked it. So, which of these proto non-Hungarianfingaelbasq languages are included in 1.02?
17. Yes, we are humbled by your Wisdon, but what you suggest for your number is a waste of a good duck. As for your member, we don't care how you number it and please don't regale us with any pet names. If perhaps you hang your shingle somewhere else, they will show you the modify button. But alas, you are a Canadian. We would have to care to have symptathy and, you see, we simply don't. As you go away quickly, we won't pretend not to notice, we won't have to. Your attention in this matter is greatly appreciated.
18. We're playing "Massive Tree Fight" still, but my illustrious opponent is on vacation or the Moon or some damned where. So far there are trees, super Panzers with +2 armor of reflection, bad AI pathfinding which gets tanks bogged in scattered trees... Oh yeah, and lots of dead, retreating, and smoking-hulked Soviets.
19. Oh, I like kittens too. Since you have some experience, How do you skim the hair, From the top of the gruel? My toothbrush gets clogged.
20. We already have a House of Commmons, what do we want with Lords? Nong, we'd just end up polishing the silver spoons in their mouths. I think I hear your mother calling you. Sodd Off.
21. Ah, that was very nice, nooding off while I sodded off. Now, I'm back. Yes, the IQ has risen, along with the level of the sump, but not much. No need for all the cheers, thank you. I am cursed with the same fevers as the Outlaw Justicar. I return to town to find a head crash (Down Bauhaus, I said crash.), .pst files are gnashed with big teeth and some PBEM files rolled over big big clanky things. The real problem is that I have no addresses with which to return the severe beating I am handing out to each of you worthless twits. (Of course, those turns that went out last night and this morning, I have complete info on, no need to repeat.) If you deem to roll off your respective (ehem) ladies and resend your last, I'll bare your bottom and administer the punishment. The spankings will and continue until morale improves. You may now return to your regularly scheduled idiocy.
22. Back in town to a hard drive crash, ISP down until this morning. Outlook .pst files wasted. I have everything now I need except the rules, my opponent list and a communication from my opponent in Hossz...., I am allied. Can you send me another mail with setup and email address thanks. I have 2 days off, I will catchup. Thanks for your patience. Update: XMas battle on turn 2. Beast turn 2. King of Debracen on turn 9. Hosszupaly turn 1. Rear Guard turn 3.
