  2. Boo's not a bum, he's just homeless. [ February 23, 2003, 01:23 AM: Message edited by: Egbert ]
  3. Well yes Ma'am. I'll trade you a serving of Coq au vin for 2, please.
  4. Why yes, his mother, and my mother. They're both Mothers. Well wadda ya know. Git. edited to make sure Vadr's doesn't feel forgotten [ February 21, 2003, 10:28 PM: Message edited by: Egbert ]
  5. It is a MAN's game. So much of a man's game that it's not for the likes of you, Eggspert. Actually, come to think of it, you'd probably be rejected by your local tiddley-winks club as not being MANLY enough. Mace </font>
  6. Meeks I advocated that you be put to death MANY times during my tenure as Outlaw Justicar ... I think that, if you post that stupid picture a couple more times, I can get some serious votes for my point of view ... your choice bubba. Joe </font>
  7. First things first. I'm not sure Mace is a good choice as the wee lad thinks a Wallaby is a good choice for a name of a team that tries to play a MAN's game. (Also, I don't think being associated with a place called "down under", is conducive to be taken seriously. Sounds like a really seedy cathouse, where the raunchiest of procedures occur. On second thought, he must feel at home.) Second point, you have proved yet again you are master of the obvious.
  8. I played with it a bit more: re-installed over top of the other 3.1 drivers. No change. uninstalled, then reinstalled 3.1. All graphics are now good but twinkly. Changed monitor drivers to more closely match the Viewsonic PF 790. No change. Altered the refresh rate from 75 to 72 (monitor is acapable of 77). flicker gone, graphics good, no fog.
  9. Oh yes, brilliant as long as you consider finding ways to place non-turreted Uberstugs , hull down (It's always hull down) while providing 100% 1 shot kills. Force feed my FO's some strange intoxicant so they drop arty between the targets. (The farmers will have an easy time plowing this year.) And, buy cloaking devices for quad 20mm cannon. My boys were brilliant, brave and resourceful but when their only target is the end of a barrel, well.... they just have to call out the snipers to sneak up and kill the commander. Another coupla turns and I'd have had you, I say. (Too bad you'll never know.) Those brave souls actually charged right into hell. (They were trying for just the hill but kept right going. Never knew what hit them.) Bah, nobody takes your ranting seriously anyway. Now AJ is another matter. 24 KV's a couple platoons of T-34's and 2 sturmoviks. His idea of combined arms is 2 different companies of tanks on one really high hill. He'll expend all his HE shooting at inf from 1500m and still lose. Gamey bastiche.
  10. Yes, I had fog, and it was perfect but the other graphics were pretty bad. I was very! surprised after seeing all the complaints here on the issue. It is Catalyst driver 2.4, I had DX 8.1 running pentium 4 2.4GB .5GB Ram 9550 Pro Win2k Standard VGA drivers running on a Viewsonic PF790 Monitor (yeah I know, but now that I have a new PC, I cannot find the correct driver or .inf) When I installed the 3.1 software and DX 9, the fog went away but the rest of the graphics are much better. Right now, I do not have a way to check if TCP/IP works. I do not have an opponent I am playing that way right now. The screen pulls up fine and lets me plug in the numbers. 11. Interesting Bauhaus. I'm running a new 9500 pro and the only thing I'm missing is sometime the bottom row of the screen moving view buttons and Fog. When I first installed the drivers for an older version, I had fog but some poor graphics and lots of "twinkle when I moved". So I upgraded the drivers and now no fog and just this small button problem. I will try reloading the 3.1 drivers tomorrow.
  12. My mind's eye peeked before the nun mother could run across the inner globe and shield it's eyes. I'm scarred, I tell you, scarred. Like a dozen rune scenarios concurrently, scarred. I propose we create a law much like the **spoiler** rule for this type of stuff. Even Grue will have problems with that post.
  13. Well geez, you just now started using the registered trademark. I am not responsible for infringements before you announce it's use as a trademark. That's Ok, my wife doesn't really demand to be obeyed, anyway. She's nice.
  14. Don't get to close, I don't want you getting any of your flop sweat on me. </font>
  15. And whose little boy are you? I'm sorry, I have enough trouble deciphering OGSF's pseudo-Scot diatribes and Aussie Jeff's way over the top Dali-esque inspired UBB rantings, but there's not one damn thing in my contract that says I have to put up with pirates. And look at this refugee from a Gilbert and Sullivan opium dream -- is he a Fluffie/SSN? He doesn't bold names, neither does he challenge anyONE. I say we let GRUE play with him for awhile. </font>
  16. Pervert. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Steve </font>
  17. Alas, I cannot, in fact Vadr is waiting on me. I have 11 games going right now and a setup from AJ waiting for me to return. While I am keeping up, I cannot start another. I owe turns to a few that I got this morning. In all I have sent about 20 files today. The ROW takes precedence. [ February 17, 2003, 09:01 PM: Message edited by: Egbert ]
  18. SNL Grog. I think it would have been better from Chevy Chase. Quit trying to drag down my improvements. Can't you think of something constructive to do? Our relief at your announced and continued speachlessness is boundless. Take all the time you need with your retort, we're not waiting. [ February 17, 2003, 05:11 PM: Message edited by: Egbert ]
  19. Oh, kind but uncareful Kaniggggget. Let me watch your back. Ehem.... <font size = +1> Down Bauhaus!</font> Please feel free to continue carrying on.
  20. <font size=-1>I was wondering why it took you so long to post a simple, yet rude, answer to the lady when I could politely answer and illustrate, as well as, berate another individual that soundly deserved it. Then I checked your profile and noticed the proximity of your claimed abode, to Canada.</font></font>
  21. I was wondering why it took you so long to post a simple, yet rude, answer to the lady when I could politely answer and illustrate, as well as, berate another individual that soundly deserved it. Then I checked your profile and noticed the proximity of your claimed abode, to Canada. You must have snuck across the border. Shall I call the INS? Perhaps not, <font size = +2>"Let this man be a warning to all. Do not emulate him in any way."</font> At least you can be of some service, as a warning to others. As for your example, I must say, at least that was correct. Egbert [ February 17, 2003, 11:10 AM: Message edited by: Egbert ]
