Even smaller problem is that its Abrams not abrams. Also I doubt that there would be any M1 Abrams in an initial invasion of Syria, as most if not all Abrams are of the M1A1/M1A2 variant.

You will get roughly 4 answers, Yes it's great, Yes it's good and will get better once they fix more bugs. No I cant play it but maybe will after they patch it. No it sucks.

adminttd, unfortunately grammar and poor spelling abounds in the forum here. However, I realize that english is not the native tongue for some of the posters here, and from looking at your profile I guessed that was the case for you. That is why I edited my post with the caveat that your english skills are much better than my spanish skills. One thing though is that I detest emoticons and never use them, which leads to some posters misunderstanding my typing. However, I am enjoying CM:SF now, just as much as all of the other Combat Mission games that came before it. I am also looking forward to the patches that will only improve the game as they did with CMBO, CMBB and CMAK. As for FaxisAxis, if you could point to a post where I typed either Uh..Ghh or even Ghh I would appreciate it as I would like to fix the posts. Tee hee oh, ugly Dog face. I see what you are doing there, its a play on my name. Not a very good one, nor is it original but don't worry I caught it.

units refusing to follow orders?

On this note I have seen some of my AFV/IFVs get stuck in spotting/targeting mode, where the gunner just switches rapidly between the two. Not so bad in realtime as I can cancel the order, but it sucks in WEGO where I have to watch him do it for 60 seconds. It looks to me that it mostly happens when the LOS tool says I have LOS but I really do not. -

Highlight unit you want to move, open the movement tab, hit the o key or click on the move button on the movement tab and select the part of the map (in the deployment zone) that you want the unit to move to. One thing also to remember is that there is a nice function on this message board, it is called the search function. For example: Hmm seems I need to update the picture yet again.

I think it is abstracted. In playing the ambushed Stryker scenario, I had some uncons sneak up to the building next to the imobilized Stryker. I targeted the building with the MK.19. A bit later I entered the building and there were 5-6 dead bad guys inside, along the far back wall. The only thing targeted was the middle of the building. I think you might have to target the different floors in area fire mode, other than that area fire on buildings seems to be abstracted. [ July 29, 2007, 05:56 PM: Message edited by: Dogface ] -
In other words, no you can not add new units. You will however, if any of the previous Combat Mission games are any indication, be able to mod the way sounds sound and appearances appear (short of changing the underlying 3D model).

BTS has a long history (all of the CM games) of not allowing users to modify balistics, penetration, 3D models or adding new units. This has always been well known and communicated endlessly.
