  1. The "barrel" of Sturmie is huge in diameter. I'm thinking that it won't be to hard for a decent gunner to put a HE round in that hole at medium distance. Just what whould happen to the SturmTiger if it gets the incoming round down the barrel, i wonder...
  2. You have to place the Seek Hull Down waypoint to the spot relative to which you want to obtain the hull down position. But be sure that there are some hills or drops in the ground between the tank and desired spot to which you want to achieve hull down position.
  3. Ahaaa, that answers my question about that NKVD officer screenshot which featured in one of gaming magazine's CMBB previews (someone scanned it and posted the page here).
  4. I was also wondering, why fix somefink which was working. Playing BB demo i constantly find my left hand fingers pressing Shift key, when i want to strafe sideways, it's almost like second nature to me. Also, i miss the ability to place cursor in the bottom corners and rotate and move backwards simultaniosly. And the good ol' Tab/1 is also made worse IMO, i mean, i like backsides (of tanks in this case ), but not when given rear obscures the view of battlefield.
  5. The black background seems very heavy. How 'bout if you put some old map in the background? EDITed because i read the original post. [ September 26, 2002, 11:10 AM: Message edited by: ciks ]
  6. I want snowboards. Where are my snowboard troops?
  7. There was a special keystroke to be pressed, to turn the Esc key "on" but i don't remeber exactly what was it.
  8. That guy by the gun is so confident he aims the thing with one hand: "Look, ma, no hand" *DANG*
  9. I'm not sure i understand this. You mean, when you split the squad, the B part is automatically, instantly considered as casualties?
  10. Having been on the Tallinn-Helsinki fiery, i can testify that Finnish hands are to be feared. When the ship entered Helsinki port, i saw a lady in the hallway (in her fifties i'd say), who carried 2 boxes of Lapin Kulta (24 0.33cl beer cans each) in her right hand and another 4 boxes on the small cariage on her left. I certainly wouldn't like to meet her on the street after she had consumed all that stuff.
  11. Are there some other Eastern Europeans (Poland, Russia, Baltic countries etc.) still waiting for their preordered CMBB except me?
  12. Damn UBB [ September 25, 2002, 08:48 AM: Message edited by: ciks ]
  13. Is that a 43.5 mm pine cone or the later model? [ September 25, 2002, 08:48 AM: Message edited by: ciks ]
  14. Thanks for effort. You didn't involve your halfies in firefight much, it seemed. Were you afraid of mortar fire?
  15. Now, now... if the package took 4 days to get from warehouse in Ireland to Dublin, i wonder if i'll get my hands on thee while i'm still in this world
  16. I've said it earlier, but that time it got no response. So here it goes, a self-quote:
  17. I'm also waiting, I guess it's going to be a couple long weeks...
  18. I'm still definitely up to some hostilities, but i guess living in such a remote corner of Europe means long waiting for the package to arrive. But when we play, it could be some Festung Kurland battle (if that is included, i hope it is, because i contributed some information to SuperTed who said he's up to designing one). *runs down the stairs to check the mail box*
  19. On defense - true. But if used on attack as scouts, you have to move them around somehow.
  20. Shoot & Scoot is an order for armor. And the best way to use SHARPSHOOTERS is to order them to sneak.
