  1. Can I try and encourage players to sign up to play the scenarios... YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPPOINTED!!! Sign up and lend your hand to giving good scores for the finalists... Your Tourney needs you. Also bear in mind that you can submit AAR's for the AAR prize, even if you are not a finalist and as long as you played the tourney scenarios. Of course these are not mandatory unless you are battling for the wine and want to win the wine. So remember chaps if you want the wine we want to see how you won your games in an AAR. Cheers H

  7. I have just bought Seelowe on E_Bay so will see if it is as good as my memory tells me... Should be here this week, I expect it will have a full break down of units involved (or planned to be involved). I have also been ploughing through a book on Sealion which has some good quotes and shows why it really was not going to happen. H [ June 28, 2004, 08:33 AM: Message edited by: Holien ]
  8. Hi Nice Site Sgt_Kelly. I have just sent KF the final sheet on who has submitted what for the points for the finals. I.e. Wine prize. If anyone has any issues and can persuade KF of the validity then please get in touch with him ASAP, as he will now be acting on the what I have sent him. I will be off line soon until Sunday night, bar a quick peek from work on Wednesday morning. Good luck with the final games and I think you will enjoy the scenarios even more than those in the first round. (Heh Heh Heh....) H

  11. Hi, an excellent idea and you seemed to have volunteered to help? We need somewhere to host the files as the AAR's are inexcess of 200Meg. I have not done a final size check but it is certainly larger than the 50Meg I get from my ISP. I can prep the files in an agreed naming convention but would need you to do the design work on site. This is obviously something for after the judging phase. IMPORTANT UPDATE The deadline for the AAR's for the AAR prize is Sunday Night. This allows people who have rushed their work in for the Wine prize to tweak their entry. Spell check it and refine content. After Sunday I will not be taking any changes in the AAR's. H P.s. Slicer, I agree and again if that can be done that is a very good idea. [ June 22, 2004, 09:49 AM: Message edited by: Holien ]

  15. Good morning chaps.. This is the final list of people who have got all their AAR's to me for points to advance to the finals. (Some do not have full points.) You have until I get home tonight to lodge any appeals or update me. Once I am home (in about 12 hours time.) I will finalise the list for KF and that will be it. This way we can get on and announce who gets into the finals for the Wine. As mentioned previously if you want to tweak the AAR's for the AAR Prize then get in touch as you can have a bit more time for that. So if you are not on the list here I don't have AAR's from you, or you have failed to re-send them as a document. E-mails will not cut the Ice!! A big thank you to these guys for doing all the AAR's. VADR Mick Oz J Bertles Dangerous Dave Owl Strider Slawreg Jaws Sgt Kelly Steve McClaire Panther Commander RedWolf DeathDealer Melnibone Pace Stick JPS Brent Pollack Larsen Enoch Cpt T Malakovski Heavy Drop GreenasJade Nidan The_Capt CombinedArms Bryce Baker SlicerW Michael Dorosh Dalem Ted Walpurgis Night Ace Pilot Mpisi Levitacus Deadly 88 Londoner These guys are short of one AAR but should be thanked as well. CunzNG14 Victor Charlie John Kettler These gents have been able to pull two AAR's out of the bag: - Overkill Ankulin Von Lucke Finally by my reckoning these gents have put in a single AAR: - Nolloff Sripe If I have any of this wrong, or you are one of the players notified of 1/2 a point AAR you have 12 hours to e-mail me so I can consider where we go. This is the easy bit nearly over, during the course of the next few weeks we have to pull together a short list of the best and that is going to be fun.. Cheers H

  21. Hi John, I now understand what you mean. I had not re-checked the text on that and yes it could do with updating. I will ask KF to edit it and put in the appropriate text. Thanks for pointing that out. When I get home tonight I will respond to any e-mails I have in my In Box. The AAR Deadline for points to advance into the finals is as ever the end of the 21st June. When I turn on my PC in the morning of the 22nd anything in the "In Box" will be counted for advancement to the finals for the wine. Of course if you are not in the finals you will still get the chance to play the scenarios being played in the finals if my understanding is correct on that? Your scores in those games will help in working out the averages. H P.s. If you are not bothered with the points for advancement into the finals and still want to submit AAR's please let me know and we can sort something out in regards to the AAR prize judging process.
