It's beginning to look a lot like winter
lcm1947 replied to Tanks a Lot's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Extremely nice detail Tanks a Lot. They look great as is and I would like to use them clean looking or more worn as others suggested but either way nice job. Thanks. -
Did you mean randy girls or random girls?
-
Thanks Manx I was looking for another scenario to play. Did I already tell him that I love your site?

I'm afraid you have a problem my friend. That's the way it starts and it will go downhill from there. At my age I still don't understand why women want to run our lives for us but they do - But God bless them anyway, but it's a problem. Good luck.

The Jagdpanther is a superweapon !
lcm1947 replied to antaresqc's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Just for grins I pit 3 Pershings against one Jagpanther. You are correct that Jagpanther is tough. But the Pershing did knock it out after firing 10 shells and the Jagpanther failed to kill any of the Pershing but this actually was at 1200 meters. But never the less it took 10 hits before dying. I was surprised that it didn't knock out any of the Pershings but on a second go around it did kill one Pershing before dying itself. I'm be a little more respectful around them in games. -
Apologies about the CMBO obsolete thread
lcm1947 replied to Cybeq's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Cybeg I understand what you mean because I was thinking the same thing. As much as I love CM I'm afraid that when CM2 comes out it will be so much better that I personally will favor it and play it only. I will miss the American forces but I believe the improvements in CM2 will just make playing CM less fun. Who knows though maybe I'll go back and play it on occasion. -

Bad leaders for CMBB or later?
lcm1947 replied to Gyrene's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Excellent idea Gyrene. It would make the game a lot more realistic but what a bummer if you got one. If they do model this in the game I think they should also model in the ability to shoot him. You know the troopers shooting him for getting a bunch of guys killed or walking into an ambush, etc. Just kidding on the last part but something to think about. I guess I could just have him attack a tank all by himself. Yeah, and watch him take the tank out. -
Last time I'll bug you with those CMMOS Panthers.
lcm1947 replied to Clubfoot's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Excellent idea from Pascal!!!!!!! That will make it a breeze to tell what you're picking. Boy some guys are so smart. A big thank you also Clubfoot for the ruleset. This is just going to make it so easy. God I love it. -
Thanks for the update and please hurry. Just kidding take your time I'm not going anywhere. I am very impressed with the overall look of the site by the way. Outstanding comes to mind!

Thanks Ted. You guys leave him alone he does a fine job of keeping us posted.

It's very simple actually. As of this moment I will not response to anything that this bunny guy says or does. He doesn't exit. So bye bye bunny.

We knew that didn't we? Too bad they can't really describe how great it is though and what it will do to your life.

I think it would be a good idea to behalf like gentleman and take turns. So since I thought of it I suppose everybody would naturely want me to go first. Thanks to all and I shall be delighted to.

I don't use anything but I've got Corel Photo Paint.

No it's not too much to ask but doesn't seem like anybodys up to it. Too bad! I was actually going to try to learn to do mods myself but after installing the program and getting all ready I started the program up and found out I didn't even know where to begin. I spend several hours trying this and that and finally gave up. I sure wish software would come with manuals and step by step instructions but they don't. I don't suppose you would care to get me started? Hey no harm in asking, right?

Bye-Bye CMBO(insert my tears)
lcm1947 replied to Tread Head's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
I agree with what everybody else said but do know where you are coming from also. But hey the Russia front will be fun too. Just don't know who's side I'll be on though. I'm still a little confused as who the bad guy will be? -
God bless the peace makers and mod makers.

What I would like to see in CMBB
lcm1947 replied to Moyle's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
The one thing I'm curious about is why can't 6 guys carrying the HMG which is just 39 more pounds heavier then the LMG and only having a crew of 2 not able to move as fast? The extra 39 pounds it seems is solely due to the tripod which weights 39 pounds more then if using the bipod. I would think that the ammo being carried would be the same amound of rounds since they are the same MG and fire and behave the same. Any body know?
