  3. I've noticed that in 1.11 when my tanks and MGSs fire HEAT at soft targets in trenches the rounds always fall short and never make it to the trench. It's as if they are trying to fire through the ground to the spot where the unit is, but the ground stops the round. For example, in the scenario being discussed, while driving up the road, my tanks and MGSs will expend all HEAT rounds without ever causing a casualty. I have to call in mortars to take out the HMGs in the trenches.
  4. I have also started replaying the campaign and I noticed that the Abrams targeted the bunkers before the tanks.
  5. If they use Holsteins, will there be a way to have different tag numbers for each cow?
  6. In the Marines campaign there are battles where you are working with local troops. They don't have authority to use certain artillery.
  7. Sorry, I don't have the save. The AAV had a reverse order, then several move orders to get to a new destination. The squad had a disembark order with the one waypoint in a building. When the turn started the squad immediately started running towards its destination as if it had not been inside a vehicle. The vehicle reversed and then followed its orders. I saw it again a few turns later. That time the AAV had a move order instead of reverse, so I guess that has nothing to do with it. If I can find a save I will send it to you. And on an unrelated note, the game crashes every other time I try to load a save. It gets to 2% and freezes.
  8. I've been giving orders this way since CM:SF came out and I've never seen this before. The only thing I may have done differently this time was to order the vehicle to reverse. Normally it is a forward moving order.
  9. I noticed an odd occurrence yesterday. I had ordered a Marine squad to disembark from an AAV and at the same time I ordered the AAV to reverse. After hitting go, the entire squad instantly disembarked in place (didn't exit through the door) and the AAV started backing up. My intention was for the squad to disembark at the AAV's final destination.
  10. I've noticed that if you split a sniper team one half gets nearly all of the .50 cal ammo while the other half, the half with the sniper rifle that uses the .50 cal, get almost none.
  11. Also, with the Sherman, there was no delay and no worrying you were going to rain death on your own troops. I guess the modern philosophy is to keep your distance.
  12. You can also use the doorway without blowing a hole in the wall.

  14. I am replaying the Marines campaign and it is a totally new experience. The RPGs seem to be much more accurate and I really have to protect my vehicles now. The Eagle/Tiger branch now works correctly.
  15. I took out an HMG Bunker with a sniper team from the front, at long range. The sniper team shot each of the bunker's occupants until there were none left, but the bunker was still green.
  16. I would like to be able to load a saved game without having to exit first.
  17. That's a lot of new stuff! How much does this patch cost? It's free? That's great!!!
