  1. I would like the option of having no time limit in quick battles. I would also like the ability to extend the time in scenarios, but I understand what Rune is saying.
  2. Hmmm.... Madmatt is posting... that must mean the game is going to be released in a day or two!
  3. I don't mind the current frequency of immobilizations, but I do miss the CMx1 ability to push an immobilized vehicle with another vehicle. Bogging is a non-issue as bogged vehicles usually free themselves.
  4. I would just like the scenario files as I don't mod CMSF. When I go to the CMMODS website most scenarios are actually mods and I find myself wasting my time.
  5. Was their vehicle knocked out or disabled in the previous mission?
  6. It's a car without an automatic transmission. They stink.
  7. Will frostbite be modeled in the Bulge game? Just like you now have an ! for troops that go insane, you could have a little icicle for troops that lose fingers or toes.

  10. Will there be an Italian and Romanian sea food module? I'm not particularly interested in a Finnish sea food module. The Finnish crabs will be too uber.
  11. I assumed it was because I didn't think BFC was planning to add weather to CMSF. I thought we were discussing features of the upcoming CM:N, which will have weather. But heck, I don't really want to fight in a sand storm. Do real troops fight in a sand storm, or do they wait until it passes?
  12. No, but I didn't think they have those in Western Europe.
  13. Until CM is set in New England, I don't think we have to worry about the weather changing that quickly. I'll be happy with weather being modeled at all.
  14. Is the WWII game going to have buddy aid, or is it not realistic in a WWII setting?

  17. I wouldn't be surprised if the first CM Normandy game came out by the end of 2009. Early 2010 may be more realistic.
  18. If you have ammo for the mortars they are useful for taking out the BMPs early in the scenario. That way you can keep your troops hidden until later.
  19. I honestly don't know, but in CMSF we have armored vehicles that fight pretty closely with the infantry and can resupply the troops very quickly. Is there a WWII equivalent? I know we gamers like to use halftracks as IFVs, but did they really get close enough to the shooting to be useful for quick resupply on a regular basis? Did they carry stores of ammo and equipment to be used by the infantry they carried? I can see where an offensive push would come to a halt and units would take time to send men to the rear for more ammo, but I've had the impression that the men pretty much carried all the ammo they were going to get for a day's fighting. I'd love to see troops resupply because nothing in CMx1 would frustrate me more than to have my men run out of ammo halfway through a battle; I just don't know how realistic it is. BFCs response had always been to use your ammo judiciously.
