Just this tiny portion of keywords, I am sure you can have a slit graspe the colorful life of us CMaries. Time to put up the "Don't feed the Trool" sign? IIRC, it is not that California incident. That video clip from AFHV tank had 2 guys in ti and they crushed a car when going reverse. Fortunately we don't have civilan vechiles in CMBO. Cause there is no way I can setup my men properly. OTOH, ops like "A Day in the Calavy" have great flexiblity that both sides can setup their troops with greater tactical flexibilty. I was able to avoid some exteremely nasty defense towards the end. (Sorry no spoilers given here). Sweet! Keeps the balls in the court. Gosh, after flushing 2 operations "Drive to Mortain" and "A Day In The Cavalry", I finally got the grisp of how operation should be played and now I simply want more and more and more! Now I have a rush to take out my pb and play a turn or 2. BTW, "Drive to Mortain" really touches your mood as the German defender. Paid subscription required) Don't forget "Lock On!" from SSI's Flanker team where you can file MiG-29C/K, Su-39, F-15 and A-10 (YES! Warthog!) I think I will give it a "wait-n-see" rating to H4. After the H2 diaster, Harpoon Classics is still my favourite. Jane's Naval Commander is close after the "mod" applied, but it still looks too RTS to me. FTTB, play CMBO..and more CMBO.... Sorry I am still a little sick. Yep, tropedo bombers were considered more deadliest threads to ships at that time. Trops could drill a big hole in the hul, even for big battleships. However, flat tops were (and are) still to vulnerable to bombers. IIRC, during turning point of the Battle of Midway, few Japanese flew CAP at that time so they had to pick the most dangerous bombers first. (Didn't they realise American trops had high dud rate in 1942?) Also Zeke was not strong enough to go diving with Dauntless so either they intercepted the dive bombers in high attitude or they catch the bombers going out of the dive. Sorry for all the OT. I am not sure about the EF but in North Africa, Rommel made remarks the Australian and New Zealanders were very good in night fightings. It is reflected in the game "World @ War: Operation Crusader", this game gives these troops night combat bonus, apart from other Allied troops. However, since in CMBO does not give any nationality any special bonus, I am not sure again if this will be included.
