  1. Here is one on the Romanian Armed forces of the WW2: http://www.geocities.com/dangrecu/ Any one have any other obscure sites of interest? (particularly on Axis Minors for me, but post away with anything good that the rest of us may have missed...) (edit-another one-I have the links page listed here, but the site itself is good as well) http://www.wwii.home.ro/fr1.htm [ January 02, 2003, 11:58 PM: Message edited by: benpark ]
  2. or just keep everything as is and swap the voice files.
  3. Merry Christmas to all of you! Back to stuffing myself and compulsively napping...
  4. Ah, very well done, Juju. Of course I told myself that the BB looked so good out of the box that it didn't need modding. Hours of downloads later... Just a question-is the roof a shared texture with the bldgs? An "onion dome" look would be nice for a few Soviet cities-but all of the bldgs being dark blue w/stars does not sound appealing. Nicely done, and thanks!
  5. I just posted some Italian winter units at CMMods.
  6. Aargggghh!! Hacker make Hulk ANGRY!!!! This is a great site that is well deserving of help.
  7. ...now at... http://www.cmmods.com/ Screenies at CMMods. First mod!! It is basically a frosty version of the BFC stock graphics with mittens added. Not many bells and whistles, but it suits the mood better than summer togs. [ December 12, 2002, 12:15 PM: Message edited by: benpark ]
  8. After uninstalling IronX's great Reichstag mod, I noticed that the .bmp's do not revert back to the winter church bldng-summer is fine. Any quick fixes? I assume that the problem has something to do with the ruleset?
  9. Thanks for all of your great work on behalf of this community, Gordon. CMMOS is something that should be an integral part of the next game engine. (I would love to see those winter faces done... )
  10. I am particularly interested in this battle as well. I remember doing a Google search and not coming up with a whole lot of useful information in regards to forces, maps, and first person accounts. I have also lost many of the bookmarks from that search, but I seem to remember a very good account of the fighting from a site that had "Zhukov" in the title. Sorry to be so non-specific, but this was a well written piece. I will look around again and see if I can locate the site for you and post some links.
  11. Shazam and Shazbot!! Those are perfection, Juju. The perspective issue in terms of camera angle seems pretty difficult to overcome, but these are pretty much right on.
  12. I unzipped the file and it is an .ace ("reichstag.ace") file-no .bmp's. Any ideas/ help appreciated.
  13. Good Gawd, that is amazing! This MUST be CMMOS'ed! Now I wish there was a "blank" building .bmp slot, so important buildings could be modded without making every building the same... VERY nicely done!
  14. My best wishes, as well. Take care, Abbott.
  15. First of all thanks for this great utility. Secondly-I was having a bit of trouble (before reading the instructions...), and tried starting from scratch after trashing my original CMMOS folder (I did back up all of the Rulesets etc. for my CMBO CMMOS). Now I cannot get it back up-I get a message that reads: "Took exception while attempting to read CMMOS Path from Registry" I also can't seem to get the setup to run through completely to the point where it shows up as an installed program. Any ideas on a remedy? I am pretty PC illiterate, I use a Mac for everything but games, so please speak slowly and loudly... (I'm running under the harsh taskmaster Windows ME) [ November 19, 2002, 03:08 AM: Message edited by: benpark ]
  16. I am a Red Sox fan. It is a living hell here every baseball season...
  17. My 56k is bulging like a python that just swallered a baseketball! CMMOS+Stalingrad pack-no sleep tonight... Thanks!!
  18. I would like a set of the rules, and I may have a map for you coming down the pike in a few days.
  19. Boolah Boolah, Pack Kuma! (MFA 2001) I'm originally from NH as well.
