  1. Thanks, Alex. I just fixed it. There are some days that I can't spell cat if you spot me the C and the T.
  2. Hey, guess what? Pre-orders for Rome to Victory opened yesterday along with a whole bunch of screenshots and more detailed information.
  3. It's been a long time coming folks but pre-orders are now open for CMFI's module Rome to Victory. Head on over to the module's webpage to find out the details that you've been waiting for and place your pre-order today!
  4. And you're looking in the wrong place. Ya outa check out the CMFI forum.
  5. well.....maybe very ve close....Not quite 2 verys....more like 1 1/2.
  6. I did say that I'd work on getting something substantial to chew on this week. I was running out of week but we're very very close now.
  7. I hope you do well coming off the stuff. I had it once in a fairly low dosage and was batting .400 and hitting with power. Plus I cleaned the kitchen floor 5 times a day...so it isn't without it's merits. Be well my, friend.
  8. Did I really say "very close" to having some updated information last week? Hhmm....I probably should have just said "close" but I must have meant it. Let me work on getting you something substantial to chew on this week.... Now that the first one is in the rearview mirror it's been easier to git moving.
  9. Intentionally. Sometimes these patches also end with things like "various bug fixes" too. A TO&E change can be as subtle as the ammo loadout of a squad.
  10. When the game is open what version is displayed in the bottom right of the splash screen. That is the version that the game is running on....regardless of the brz files in the Data folder. When you re-install an older version on top of a newer version the exe file (for Windows) is brought back to the earlier exe file and that is what is running the game. A good example of that is the most recent patch. There aren't any new brz files. Just a new exe file. The extra brz essentially functions as an unaccessed mod file.
  11. It is true....all the time. We do this frequently while beta testing to revert the beta versions that we are running to the public versions when people explain something that they are seeing.
  12. Yes. Reinstalling the 4.0 Upgrade will revert the game back to v2.00.
  13. Steve is 100% correct. That said, unlike the last patch, this one is able to advance CMRT PBEM games. I know this because I am playing Peng in the exact same battle that you mentioned and yesterday I advanced it to the new patch without a problem. I don't know if you can go from "00" to "02" but if I were to bet I would bet that you couldn't. If that's what you're trying to do then you need to revert your game to "00" and finish it out before patching.
  14. I'm not even sure that that has been confirmed and isolated as a bug internally. If it is addressed in a patch it will not be a patch that turned around as quickly as this one was.
  15. Exactly. Either a saved game or an email game can be saved in the orders phase then patched and opened to continue. That didn't work for CMRT last patch (the others were fine). It is unusual that can't move a game forward with a patch but it isn't unheard of either.
  16. Either. If you never had "01" installed it will install that, in addition to "02" (4.01 and 4.02 in CMBN's case)
  17. I like to call this the "Aught 2" (02) patch. I call it the "02" patch because each version ends with 02, except for Black Sea. It is up and ready for everyone. Grab the one(s) that you need right here: Aught 2 Patches This is almost a "hotfix" patch and mainly addresses 3 issues: - Quick Battle Play by Email crashes for CMBN, CMFI and CMRT (but the fix was applied to all games) has been fixed - AI Infantry running toward enemy fire rather than away from the firing unit. Particularly inn bocage. - TO&E changes, particularly wrong uniforms being used in CMFI
  18. The Khabour Trail has been Upgraded for CMSF2 and it's ready for you to play.. The Canadian Campaign from Combat Mission Shock Force 1 has been brought up to Shock Force 2's Game Engine 4 standards. Also included are updated AI plans, reworked briefings and some adjustments to the campaign's units. Here is a direct link to the download: The Khabour Trail Campaign Enjoy!
  19. #1 - Will never be changed. This happens (not often but it happens) with patches sometimes. #2 - Known and being fixed (actually already has been ..just not released yet) #3 - Ditto #4 - Not on your list but, in my opinion, bigger than the other 3 combined....PBEM QBs with Human selection in CMBN, CMFI and CMRT broken. See response to #s 2 and 3.
  20. Open a Help Desk ticket and attach a screenshot of the contents of the game's Data folder. What you are seeing is usually a sign of something missing in the installation. The Data folder will tell me what is missing.
