  1. Perhaps patient? Thread bump service provided to advertise an excellent mod! ( G'day Kitty! )
  2. ...Artillery. The 155mm round fell 50m short of the aiming point, the faq thread. "This will teach you. Here I am, naked as the day I was born*, and all this talk about sporrans when the focus should be on my thingy! You will pay!!!! FOO here, extend range 50m then FFE, out!" "Sorry", cried the CM collective cowering in the FAQ, "We don't have a magnifying glass powerful enough to focus on that! Not that we would want to anyhow!!!!" With the barrage falling, the FAQers cowering, one man rose to the occassion to save the day. It was... * to be confirmed.
  3. Germanboy, I know, I know! It is quite heart-wrenching to see it, but I do take solace in the fact that they are Pommie Sheep, and that my plan to repopulate the world with Aussie uber-marinos can now commence. While I'm at it, just a quick note for Stuka's benefit. Have you considered changing the SS Soldat bitmap back to the original? No? That Queensland sun must have fried your brain (and here I am thinking that those ears would provide some protection). Mace
  4. "cause we love our vegemite, we really adore our vegemite, it puts a rose in ev-ery cheek!" Yah, Speedy did best me, the tight mongrel wouldn't shout drinks at the local. So I smashed the headlites and slashed the tires of all his AFVs, and now the sod has to walk home (meanwhile, I get to drive home in comfort and not worry about being pulled over for drink-driving as I haven't touched a drop) Lorak please note. Speedy (tight Allied b*stard):49 Mace (dinky-di true-blue Germanic bloke):36 (very, almost miniscule, not even worth mentioning really) minor allied victory Mace PS Any of you other mongrels want a slap around the ears, send me a setup. 5. ...feeding the pigeons, while admiring the pretty clouds and marvellous blue sky, all the while dreaming about being at home and trying on Mom's favorite pink dress in front of the mirror. Maximus was suddenly distracted from his daydreams when he noticed a speck in the sky plummeting towards the earth at terminal velocity. It was none other than Stuka, who was partaking in the practice of naked skydiving. Of course, being naked, he didn't have his...
  6. It is ...so... cute when all the squires and squire wannabees play nicely together! Aren't they adorable? Mace
  7. Oooooooh! I love being part of a good lockdown! Mace
  8. ...his eyeballs drop out, or the wind changes, in which case he is in one hell of a predicament. While digging for the motherload... [This message has been edited by Mace (edited 03-15-2001).]
  9. I'm not a Tex!, I'm a bloody Aussie ya git! Go play with a squire (better yet, Joe Shaw who is developing a thing for prospective young squires) and then if you're really lucky, I may actually acknowledge your existance with a game. Mace
  10. I haven't seen such a vulgar display of emotions towards another cesspooler since mine. Sorry, but there is only room for one brown-noser in this here cesspool! Mace
  11. It is? I'm definitely in the wrong place then, although I wouldn't mind sticking around for the self-flagellation? Mace [This message has been edited by Mace (edited 03-15-2001).]
  12. I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to add the function of saving a unit selection as a separate file during the unit selection stage? This file can then be reloaded back into unit selection at a future date, or deleted if no longer required. This functionality would be particularly useful in: i) saving a favourite unit mix for any future Quick Battles. You can then reload the savefile and adjust it to comply with the points available, or ii) save an incomplete unit selection for completion at a later date. Especially useful for those larger battles where unit purchase takes ...so... long, or where you may wish to ponder your selection before committing to it. Any comments will be welcomed! Mace
  13. ..."inquire is that a sporran on your kilt, or are you just happy to see us?" The thought of receiving the accolades of the CM community (and sheep, don't forget the sheep) for his choice in scottish national dress, and quite a large sporran, filled Mace with some... 14. Oh please! Sir Shaw, I would appreciate if you could cease making a shining example of your squire as I've just had breakfast, and *ULP* I don't want to loose it all over my keyboard and monitor. Sir Mace
  15. The late war Stug III Ausf G and Stug IV had a commander's cupola towards the rear, left hand side of the fighting compartment. This gave the commander 360 degrees observation through observation slits. Jagdpanzers had a similar arrangement, but without the cupola. Mace
  16. Gentlemen, Gentlemen, please! Remember, we are here to discuss (and hopefully flame) Croda. Please keep the discussion on topic! Mace
  17. New stupid poll: Death by aircrash or death by French whorehouse? It would have to be the latter....at least you die with a smile on your face! Mace (Hi Mom)!

  20. What about spotlighting? Is it maneuver (ie moving ute full of armed drunken yobs from point A to point B at night), or attrition (shooting at anything while moving from A to B, that is trapped within the spotlight beam; kangaroos, koalas, wombats, pigs, people, birds, rabbits, insects, farmers, sheep, cattle, horses, trees, discarded tinnies etc etc etc)? From my personal experience (passed out in back of said ute) it is maneuver! Mace
