  1. It must be Spring! All the snow has melted on the ground at the F.O. site!
  2. Played a quick battle the other day using a Churchill VII and a Churchill AVRE (now there's a infantry support weapon to use in a town, took most buildings down with three shots!). My Churchill VII took out a Panther and three Hetzers. Both of the Churchills did finally get toasted, but that was from SS suicide infantry attacks with Panzerfausts!
  3. Whoops, started new thread instead of responding to the Glen Miller one! Hey, what do you expect from a newbie?
  4. That's the latest story going around now! The military susposedly then covered up this death with the plane wreck one to protect teh family from scandal!
  5. Are these gong to be depicted in CM2, nothing like rolling up a Brummbar with it's 150mm gun to blow a pack of pesky Russkies out of their foxholes!
  6. Excellent request. In my humble opinion some of these newer Operations are so big they kind of ruin the charm of CM. After all when you start getting these maps that are so big it takes almost as long to scroll through as it would to walk, it get tedious. I find that CM is at it's best at a size of no more then a couple of reinforced companies tops. Once past that size it ceases to be a tactical game and is more a game of micro managing an oversized battle map, and lacks the up close and personal effect!
  7. 54 yrs. Old enough to have cut my gaming teeth on Avalon Hill's "D-Day", and then did it for real in the Nam. Believe me, this form of Combat is a lot more fun!
