  1. ..."alien chest buster!!!! RUN!!!!" "Well", responded Mace unconcernedly, "Whatever it is, it sure makes fine"....
  2. It sickens me to my stomach that the lives of our young hamsters are jeopardized by poor toy design. I call for such design malpractices and cost-cutting measures to cease forthwith. Who's with me? Mace [This message has been edited by Mace (edited 03-24-2001).]
  3. What was frightening was not the lifting of his kilt at my superior American forces, but what was contained under the kilt. My men (and I) will now have to seek counselling for the rest of our lives ...shudder..., but howvever we will be bringing Mr Sir Bloody Wanky-panky Gruppen Fuhrer to the attention of the UN war crimes tribunal (unless of course he lifts his kilt to them, then we're in trouble) Mace [This message has been edited by Mace (edited 03-23-2001).]
  4. Squire, although it is beneath my dignity to once again instruct a lowly insignificant life form like yourself (which is rightfully Sir Stuka’s task), allow me to show you the proper manner.... *takes bucket, tips contents on Leeo then places bucket upside down on Leeo’s head* Ahhhhh…don’t you love it when they know their place! Mace
  5. Oh, glorious fluffy one who upon entering the cess casts a shining glow upon this otherwise dismal place - this is much open to conjecture, so allow me to disinform you. It is either a mantra to be chanted by cesspoolers at times of religious significance, or the sounds of the harmonics generated by Sir Stuka's ears as they oscillate back and forth in the wind! . You're welcomed. It is always my pleasure. I hope I didn't leave you wanting. etc etc etc. Mace (the benchmark against who grovelling is compared)
  6. (**************) FOR SALE: Prime piece of fAQ thread real estate hardly used, in ideal surroundings with charming and friendly neighbours. (**************) [This message has been edited by Mace (edited 03-22-2001).]
  7. For those travelling to Melbourne, Australia, the weather forecast Overcast with some likelihood of Mir strike! [This message has been edited by Mace (edited 03-22-2001).]
  8. Been watching Crocodile Dundee again, have we? [This message has been edited by Mace (edited 03-22-2001).]
  9. I would be wary of raising the heckles of we Aussies Sir Croda, and we ask that you not point out Stuka's obvious disabilities even though he is a Dumbo impersonator, because he is our Dumbo impersonator! If this continues, we may have to ask our customs officials to stop the import of inner crodas, as there is some evidence of foot in mouth disease. Mace (note to Armornut: Squire, when next parking my limo in the cess carpark, please let down Croda's tires and scratch his duco with the car keys)
  10. Aha! You actually admit that the Panther is your prime source of corruption! I will be of course summoning the occupants of said Panther to front before the commission into gamey CMBO practices. Lorak, most unholiest of scribes, scribe this: With this blow to the back of his head with a cricket bat, I will release Armornut from serfdom and claim him as my squire. He will learn my secret ways: how to flee from a loosing fight while casting aspersions about the playing ability of one’s opponent; how to gloat about one’s tactical brilliance when winning; and of most import, how to sneak up on a flock of sheep without spooking them. THWACK!!!!!! You’re just jealous that you have no one to lug around your mighty implements of war (or *chortle* hold up those large listening flaps of yours *giggle*)! Mace btw, whatever happened to the undertoadling Chucky6? [This message has been edited by Mace (edited 03-21-2001).]
  11. That is some mighty fine grovelling, naive! It doth bring a tear to my eye, and a shine to mine boots. Keep this apeasement up, and I will have you as my squire, to carry the holey fluffy fleece, to care for my flock, and to assist me in the battle against all evil gamey bastards everywhere. Mace
  12. ...just loved to throw the master power switch to off at the most inconvenient times. A particular favorite of theirs was to disrupt...
  13. Good morning all (and a special hi to the feline one). Here I am 8:20am, this Thursday 22 March 2001, sitting at my PC at work and wondering how I can get through the day without doing any work. Suggestions welcome. But I digress, under rule B, I would like to report the following cheating, gamey bastards: JD and Sir OGPU. It is obvious that they are about to win our current jousts not through tactical brilliance (we are after all talking about JD and SirOGPU) but either by tweaking the PBEM files in their favour, or black mailing the CMBO algorithms by threatening to release incriminating photos of these in compromising positions. There is a taint of corruption here, and I don't mean Joe Shaw. I will now be carrying out an official hearing into these malpractices (as representative of Government). However, if the two choose to step down through the submission of immediate surrenders, this matter need not be pursued any longer. Thankyou. Mace [This message has been edited by Mace (edited 03-21-2001).]
  14. Ahh, dear opponent, methinks I like it better when one doth sleeps, for when awake thy brain is addled with thoughts that are the calibre of Mensch. Mace
  15. Oh,I'm sorry! Shouldn't you be out tilling the fields, chasing the rats, or popping your bubonic postules or something? Mace [This message has been edited by Mace (edited 03-21-2001).]
  16. Yep, Old age (and I mean really, really, really old age) will do that! Mace
  17. ...neighs, whinnys, cantors, and beats topics to death (not to mention leaving a nasty mess on the roads that no-one wants to sweep up). The CM collective considered various options of how to deal with Darkhorse (as CM2 wasn't going to include horses, which sort of made him redundant), and the following proposals were nominated: i) shoot him when he finally breaks a leg, ii) not to wait, but shoot him now, iii) send him to a nackery instead, and have him rendered into glue, or iv) ........ [This message has been edited by Mace (edited 03-20-2001).]
  18. Err, Foo(l), I live in Australia, not Austria. Australia is in the Southern Pacific while Austria is in Central Europe. Australia has a wide variety of interesting and unique wild life and top, bonzer shielas and blokes, Austria has nothing like that. But most important of all, in Austria if you eat Steak you may end up with Mad Cows disease which degrades the ability for rational thought and coherency through the destruction of one's brain. You've eaten the Austrian steak, haven't you? Mace
  19. Not that I'm biased or anything, but Kitty should get the award for best mod, the King Tiger, but also for the most innovative/variety in mods category, what with the hamsters, cesspoolers, sound files, and in addition the serious mods she has produced or is currently working on. Also there should be *ahem* an award for best AFV research/advisor team. Mace
  20. The four books published to date are from the Tankpower series, published by AJ Press of Poland. Check out this site from the Polish distributor: Ajaks books Books published to date are: Vol 1: Panther Ausf G Vol 2: Panther Ausf G and Bergepanther Vol 3: Panther Ausf D Vol 4: Panther Ausf A this is the cover from vol 2 (sorry about size) Mace
  21. I'd have to agree with Elvis, I think the strength of CMBO was that there was a very good information flow between the developers and we prospective purchasers. This resulted in what I would argue was probably the most stable and most entertaining wargame (or game in general) that was ever released. Also given that the East Front is the area that holds the most interest for me, I would welcome the opportunity to contribute to CM2s development, and to hear what is going on during the alpha/beta stages of the game's development. Wanker! Mace
  22. As some one who has been a military modeller for quite some time, my reference material is quite large but I can never recall seeing a Tiger I in an ambush scheme. BTW, There is a series of books published in Poland on the PzKpfw V (4 released so far). These include color plates and 1/35 scales of Panthers (and Bergepanthers) in various camo schemes, including Ambush. The series covers the Panther Ausf G, D, and A and the Bergepanther so far (one book on each). The good thing about the plates is that they show the schemes from all prospectives (eg left, right, top, rear and front), something not normally done. Excellent value for all you grogs out there. (there is talk about releasing a similar series for the Tiger). If anyone is interested, I'll post the URL for the publisher as soon as I get home. Mace
  23. Is there more? Oh yeh, Friesian cows, diary products, tulips, windmills. How exciting! And then there is my father-in-law...the Dutch must have really hated us Aussies to send him over here, you have a lot to answer for!!! btw, can any of you Dutch tell me what Kuk-a-luk means?
