  1. I know that I am allowed to say "soon". Sorry
  2. The original poster. Since your assumptions were in error I was trying to let you know what was actually in the photo since I am the one who laid it out. Big D is fun as ever. Not as hot this year.
  3. No they are all MOVE waypoints. The last is a FACE The one blue to the far right is a selected waypoint of MOVE, that is why there is a pyramid (triangle) not a sphere (circle)
  4. What's wrong with this picture?............Here's a little hint, .........NOTHING soon! I can't go into too much detail but I can say this, make sure you re-read pg.52 again your gonna need it.
  5. They are strictly a terror weapon in my experience. Used by scum and thugs around the world. They were by far my favorite target in the "Mog"
  6. I won't buy BFC products, ever, again. I don't agree at all. Let's not even touch the fraud farces surrounding the release. You've lost my respect. </font>
  7. I see these things also wood. I am still under the impression that they are bugs. Hoping so anyway. I know that they are pet peeves of mine that I will continue to report as we work on 1.04. On a side note when Steve says he took a note on somefink, he really is.
  8. Tour of Duty was about the best Military series there was until BOB came along and rocked everyone. Over There had potenial but started going in an odd direction.
  9. what are you talking about the game was updated to 1.03 Aug 30th
  10. are you asking a question or just complaining? If so you probably could have found a similar thread to do both in.
  11. I have seen this also. The solution is to set the following vehicles 1st waypoint to a spot right behind the lead vehicle's starting position. Then you may layout subsequent waypoints.
  12. I tried the RT for 1.02 since WeGo was fubar'd. But now that 1.03 is here I have gone back to playing and testing the betas only in WeGo. My feelings are if WeGo gets fixed then RT will be no problem. Since most of the screw ups come from the TacAI, if it is working when you don't have control for 60 sec then it sure as hell can baby sit for you in RT. Plus how the hell can you spot bugs in RT if you can't see what happened? You'll have to be focused right on the area. Your missing them hands down.
  13. keeping the LOS problems consolidated helps us track down the bugs. By scattering the threads you make the likehood of your problem going unnoticed higher. Help out the testers and we can make the reports for BFC. Original thread http://www.battlefront.com/discuss/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=52;t=001850;p=6
  14. Let me make my point clearer. BFC has stated they want detailed hit text during combat brought to CMSF. They also want kill tracking of units. If you want to interpret that as battle commentary ok, but I don't believe we are talking about a text file that you can access after battles. I hopt that clears up the confusion.
  15. BFC has publicly stated that they would also like that feature option back in the game. I know it is on my beta list for suggestions.
  16. point of order. by definition real time can not be rewound. You have to leave something for the WeGo'rs, I mean jeez we're desperate as it is.
  17. Yes, replay is a standard feature of WEGO after every turn. detail hit texting is a possible feature that BFC is looking into.
  18. Which is which? Don't put your Stryker where you know you shouldn't. Immobilized in a trench. Excellent coding BFC. I love this game!
  19. yes 1.03 made a major contribution to getting WEGO back on track ATGM Ambush is a good starter scenario. Hint: make sure you stay on the road
  20. Ok, I have tried to stay out of the sniper issue due to my personal bias. There are valid points about the engagement accuracy and rate of engagement. Snipers have the luxury of picking when and where we engage. We use range and time like pilots use altitude and speed. It is a trade off. CMSF is a hot zone where Snipers are used mainly for just that little bit of extra “reach out and touch someone” effect. They are not being used to the maximum effect due to the fluid nature of the battle arena where they are operating. Hell yes, if we could get closer without getting spotted then we would, but we also know that everyone and their mother is going to be headhunting after we get 3 clean shots off. You never hear of captured Snipers, they are killed on the spot usually. Understanding human nature as it is, one get’s PO’d when you know that individuals are being personally targeted not just the sterile Geneva Convention definition of enemy combatants, but the “George was my friend and now I am upset” sorta PO’d. So in order for that perfect solution to happen we need time. Time allows the Sniper Team to set position, observe and report. We are talking hours if not days, folks. Not the 120 minutes of battle (max) that is happening in CMSF’s environment. Snipers are being used as high value Marksman, not in their purest form. So they are actually engaging targets in a believable fashion as they are now. As far as Snipers “lying” about engagement ranges I challenge anyone to a duel. Any Sniper worth his salt can put a cold bore round up a fleas arse at 300m without blinking an eye.
