  3. Not sure if this is where this goes but, I ran two scenarios with large maps which is Allah's Fist (2016 x 1184) and Bil's NTC (2000 x 1504). The First test was with the 3D options set at "Best", for Allah's Fist I got 20 FPS and for NTC I got 10FPS. Setting the 3D options to "Balance", I got for Allah's Fist 45FPS and for NTC I got 40FPS. How are others testing the Frame Rates? Are you using the same map and at the same spot when testing? Are you posting the average when you do a 360 degree turn? Or are you posting what you see when you look at a certain direction? Are you testing in the open, forest, building terrains? Has anybody tried using the FRAPS program and see what the average FPS is when you do a 360 degree turn to get the average? Strange also is when I load Allah's Fist it took about two minutes to load but when I load Bil's NTC map it took about four minutes. Is it because of the elevations in the maps causing the load to be that slow? The reason I'm asking is Allah's Fist is mostly flat while Bil's NTC has some large mountains in it? I have a P4 3GHz, 1GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT SLI, Driver 163.67 windows XP Home Editon, NVIDA settings "application controlled" Resolution at 1680x1050 if anybody wanted to know. JohnO
  4. I agree with panzermartin statement. My "Give me Huge Maps" just don't look right JohnO
  5. When I tested it, the engineers did not mark mines they just sat there. Also sometimes they walked right over the mine fields that I place and other times the mine went off when they walked over it. The antipersonnel mines went off sometimes and the antitank mines went off every time a vehicle drove over it. When I used the mix mines nothing happen, when the vehicle drove over it nor when the infantry walked right over it. What is the radius for when placing mines out? Is it 10ft, 20ft? When you use mines is it more then one mine or are they ten mines? How is the mines placed in the game? Are they place on the ground? Buried? During the Gulf War they were placed mostly above ground. How long will it take the engineers to mark the mines if it did worked? That is some of the questions that I posted in the Skunkworks. Right now were testing v1.04 so have to see when Steve can get to it. JohnO

  8. No 1.04 is not out yet. Can't you read that I'm beta testing v1.04 along with the rest of the beta team. Don't know yet, thats up to Steve posting when. JohnO
  9. Now I know why I can see it in the scenario list and not you guys, is because I'm testing v104 and I believe that was what George used to make the changes to it when he posted it. He is also a beta tester as well as me and he used v104 instead of v103. JohnO

  13. Don't know about everybody else, but I would like to see a SpecOps night mission. Seems to be too many scenarios for daytime and not nighttime operations. JohnO

  18. Soon very soon, just joking, seriously being one of the Beta testers not sure what would be the time frame it could be two weeks, two and half weeks not sure. I know were on it, but Steve would most likely drop in and say with a better time frame. JohnO
  19. I agree about the manual being vague I'm still trying to find about the medic and how and why it does what it suppose to do, how can C2 be tested? JohnO
  20. I agree with you Splinty, could the unit attributes contribute to the problems if the experience level, physical condition, and morale have on the leader, as well as being suppressed by enemy fire, trying to get that information out to his higher up? Just a thought. JohnO
