Scipio
That's something I never really understood. Why don't they hire a second programmer? Surly easier said than done, but it looks like the logical step. Charles' physical limitations are the bottleneck in the CM development, and that's already from the beginning of time. May I quote my signature? Face the facts. Then act on them... Ha, finally they've listen to me!!!

Lt Belenko
Does it mean CM:NATO, CM:Normandy, CM: Barbarossa to the Gates of Moscow, CM:Bulge will all be released in the next [strikethrough]30[/strikethrough] 10 days? Or does it mean CMC will be resurrected? Or does it just mean Charles will get that long expected vacation? Vacation? Who needs a vacation? He will now be permitted 3 hours of sleep a day instead of the 1.5 hours you let him get away with before.
tdogg
This is awesome news for us as fans. I seem to remember the recent thread of BF needs more programmers or open up modding to step up production to a level that will satisfy the consumer. The modding was a big no...but I'm glad they went and hired a new programmer. If BF keeps improving the CM engine in a timely manner, they will get more of my money in a timely manner. Does this mean that some of those wishlist items will make it into the game now that 2 heads are better than 1 ?

Vergeltungswaffe
This also means that we get to have all the things we wanted that were too much work for too little return, before now.

theFightingSeabee
Alright! This seems like an obvious good decision. Like Charles, I've got a bunch of programming projects going on at work and know what it's like to need another guy to help out. Hopefully Phillip can hit the ground running and be able to really make a difference in production. I wish you guys (BFC) much success!
