acrashb
I'd buy it... Here's the thing: if "they" can't even get it out the door in a reasonable amount of time, how will they support it? No game is perfect out of the gate, and I'm concerned about working out bugs or gameplay issues before Y2k38 wipes out civilization and it doesn't matter anymore.
Malaspina
2038? Phew! I thought December 2012 was the end of the world. In that case we might get a chance to play a little CMC.

HARI SELDON
The year is 2038 and still no resolution to the incompatibility problem between Windows 788 and 9999999 series video cards. The 22 remaining windows xp sp3 users on the planet have no sympathy for the "sheep" who purchased windows 788 in 2037.
stoex
Your prognoses are as always highly worrying, Dr. Seldon. Unfortunately they are also always profoundly accurate.

akash
We have postponed making a public call for new beta testers until after the server move (next week) because that will require full attention, and it makes sense

Fix
It's been a while - just wanted to remind you guys that there are still faithful die-hard CM players in Scandinavia just waiting to spend their hard earned money on CMC ...

-E
The year is 2038 and still no resolution to the incompatibility problem between Windows 788 and 9999999 series video cards. But that's not CMC's problem. The 9999999 series video cards are non-compliant. For five centuries, it has been recommended you purchase CMC 2525.
HARI SELDON
Updated to driver release 182. 9800GT card. No CMBB improvement.
phil stanbridge
Guys, if you can afford to do so in these difficult times, sell the Nvidia card and grab yourself an ATI. I've tested a 4850 and 4870 to great effect with CMBB/CMAK in Vista/DX10. If you apply the little graphical patch you have a perfectly working game. That includes fog and decent framerates. None of this slow rubbish.
Londoner
Or install Windows 7!
phil stanbridge
Or install Windows 7! For real? So if you install Windows 7 (which is still beta is it not?) you can use Nvidia or ATI without issue with CMBB/CMAK?
rune
No, With Windows 7 there is STILl the problem with the nvidia driver. You can get it to work, but it still runs slow. Rune
