Other Means
When turns are loading etc? An empty wav, certainly, just where to put it and what to call the bally thing? Toodle pip.

Other Means
Yes, true. However when you start to load it's too late - TOO LATE. An empty wav somewhere would remove it I'm sure, but where though?
handihoc
OM, I think you've just wounded a composer very deeply. Actually, I think the music's pretty good.

panzermartin
While its inevitable to become repeative, I think music score is one of the most professional parts of the game. Catchy, sets the mood of an ala blackhawk down mid east atmosphere. Love the riffs
MD82
Too true Ali BUT it should be voluntary to listen to it ad nauseum.
SgtMuhammed
It would be nice if it were possible to have several options to randomly choose from.

RichMac
Originally posted by Other Means: Including silence. Not to be a smartass, but turn down your speaker volume. I think the track gets pretty old too and I just turn down my speakers while it's loading. Simple and 100 percent effective.

Other Means
The PC is under the desk, and it's a rabbit warren back there. TBH, it should be pretty easy - has no one expanded all the sounds yet?
thelmia
Has anyone else noticed that the 'arab' vocals are the same as one of the songs on Medieval 2 Total War soundtrack?
Elmar Bijlsma
That's what I thought. The whole thing sounds the same but with guitar played over it.
KG_Jag
I think it was stolen from the Janes flight sims.
'Card
Personally I think the game's music was extremely well done. Well, I say 'music' but what we're really talking about here is one song. But I agree with the people who'd like the option to change it or turn it off. After the 1,000th repetition it gets a little old.
Paper Tiger
Have to agree. Frightful racket what what. Of course, you could take your headphones off, old boy.
Letsbe Ave.
Please read the mod tools readme.txt file. (It's in the mod tools folder.) It explains how to explode the resource files, modify them, then repack them. The files you are looking for are in the Version 100.brz file in the Data folder, in the sound/music subdirectory when exploded. I'll wager that if you replace the three .wav files with 'racket' of your own choice, but preserving the filenames, you could repack just the three files into a .brz file of your own called Version 999.brz, and Nirvana will have been reached. Note, you don't have to use music by Nirvana to reach Nirvana, mmkay? Good luck!

If you can tell me the name of the 3 files I think you just create a sound/music directory with the empty wav's with those filenames in and they will be preferred to the existing ones. So now all I need is the name of it.
