I am really looking forward to seeing what the community gets going. One request on my part. Dirty, weathered vehicles, and unis, please. It will really add to the immersion. Wouldn't be that unrealistic, either, I guess - I saw a lot of vehicles that weren't repainted before going to Iraq. Webwing Posted December 18, 2007 Share Posted December 18, 2007 I don´t think the background mountains are necessarily bad. The color of the sky is the problem IMO. You rarely see a sky that bright blue, highly saturated. The landscape is almost monochromatic, very desaturated and then you have this bright blue sky! It stands out too much. Drives a lot of attention to something that should, well, be in the background. The ground is its own bmp art, the sky is something else I'm not sure we can alter much - but maybe we can if we keep rummaging thru those exploded folders til we find something! I've already tried altering the CMSF horizon the same way I did the CMAK skies. I reduced the height of the hills by half, seems to push back the horizon and look more in-scale.
