Right...and we all know how bright he is...except obviously one of us. Take your lube to the men's locker room where Soddy’s are happiest. Us real men can separate our games from our politics. We don’t need no girly-men whining about Syria this or that in here. Combat Mission: Shock Force - Putting the Fun into Fundamentalism. LOL, Lighten up man; you’re going to blow a gasket! This thread is for PBEM games, jokes and fun. Obviously you are having a difficult time deciding which is which because of your attitude and politics. There was no hate of any kind in here until you brought it with you. Sure we based the idea on Soddball's scenario, but it does play completely differently. *sigh* You guys are alright and I don't mind posting here, but I would suggest you never call anyone a liar when they're not because that does leave a mark. Mace
Ok. I have a beer here for you. Can you pick it up within the next 2 minutes, because that's as long as I can maintain my self-control before the alcoholism kicks in and I drink it in a thirst quenching frenzy? Wallybob
Back from annoying my parents and doing odd jobs for them. Did odd jobs for myself today, and within the hour I will have my PBEM turns out, before I start on my lesson plans for next week. Thanks to my opponents for not freaking out too badly during my absence. Feh. Need beer and food, in that order.

Abbott
Mr. Ruddy and I finished our first game with the defeat of his Italians on the Eastern Front. I rolled up an unrestricted QB which pitted 4 Russian cavalry platoons and a couple support weapons against his attacking infantry. It produced a heavy firefight and he almost broke my line of 4 dug-in squads protecting a flag. Luckily I had a TRP a few meters in front of my line of dug in foxholes and I had about 80 rounds of 76mm artillery standing by. Of course being the fine commander who believes in his men’s ability to dig holes I dropped the artillery right on the attack. It seemed to do the trick as his infantry broke just before overrunning my positions. He had eliminated one squad, forced another to crawl away with two survivors and I was down to four or five men apiece in the other two, all were “low” on ammunition and had been for quite sometime. All in all it was a fun battle with a lively opponent who has also struck me as a very bright man.
J Ruddy
bah - I obviously didn't strike you hard enough! Now in preparation for the CM:SF train wreck that hopefully will ship sometime before WWIII, it's time for some urban combat - turn sent, sir!
