Checking scores for units, i'll discovered one of my SS Moterized Infantery squads scored 21 casualties !!! Is this a record ?? btw I got the SS units with the scenario, i never buy SS units myself. Here is the "proof" screenie : (btw look to the mean faces of those SS units, <SHUDDER> ) Yes,i know its from a CMBO scenario. I posted this question also in the CMBO forum, very few people visit there........ And I even don't count the arty spotters, even in a Hill 112 PBEM a Rocket spotter got some 80 kills !!! And I'm certainly no recordman myself ... zukkov Posted October 19, 2002 Share Posted October 19, 2002 but as sgt steiner would say, "good kill". in cmbo, most kills are not reported, so getting one squad with 21 confirmed is excellent. in cmbb all kills are confirmed in the aar, so i imagine the numbers will be a lot larger... Today finished scenario where I had several squads with over 20-30 kills. Once a pioneer squad got 24-27 kills plus two BT's and T34. Usually without much losses, 1-3 men at most or nothing. Got to love suppressing enemy and then rushing after them Zukkov, All the kills are reported in the map after the scenario has ended. During the scenario those aren't. During the scenario those aren't. in cmbo, the total casualties are reported in the aar, but you don't get confirmation of all a squad's kills. in cmbb you do. that was what i was trying to say... Monty Posted October 19, 2002 Author Share Posted October 19, 2002 Hard to compare a sturmy with a SS squad eh ? This scenario i played , the main battle was in a huge forest. On both sides total of > 600 casualties in 30 minutes !! The tanks we had were useless LOL My opponent ( A.I. ) had a 50 % bonus of units , meeting engagement and i scored a minor victory. Im shure i would have much better done if i had the CMBB machineguns !! Ok so the deck was loaded for them : max ammo, in a trench and barbwire in front, guarding a very narrow wooded approach and 6 MG42 as cover.
