Holien
If you see him or he pops by here ask him if he knows anything about Slipware. I have some bits I want to try and date and Google is letting me down. Ohh and you do realise you will get dirt under your finger nails... Lots of it... Mattias
Aw, what a swiss, and there were Swedish vehicles running too! I would have loved to see the m/40L running. And you got to climb around on them. And there was the Tiger  Alas, hopefully it will be as fun next year Holien: Incidentally my girlfriends best friend is visiting from Ireland, and she is an archaeologist, specialising in osteology (but somehow I hope you will have no need of any such speciality) Small world... How big is the dig by the way? Here's hoping all is well over there! M.
flamingknives
And you got to climb around on them.heh, I got to sit in one
Holien
A lot smaller than the area occupied by a Tiger. About 1 1/2 feet down to the natural. No wonder my place suffers from subsidence with the foundations only that deep and resting on gooey clay. I shall do my damndest to make it to the Tankfest next year. Sounds like we shall have a Swede amongst us? H

John Kettler
Andreas, Isn't a Chaffee an M24, not an M26? Regards, John Kettler
Andreas
Well yes. I'll go and correct that too. It was a test. Thanks Andreas
Shmavis
Crud. Maybe I can go to Bovington next year. Will anyone else be there? I know it's difficult to say this far in advance.
flamingknives
Don't be confused by Andreas dredging this thread up from two years ago, Tankfest this year is on June 25th. Since it's a biannual event, you'd have to wait until 2008 for the next one. I, for one, will be at the upcoming one. There's a thread in the General forum about it as well.
