Quinxi
I usually associate the words Sucky and Crappy with the T 26 tank.

Hans
Yes during the Spanish Civil War the T-26 was king (as long as no German trained Nationalist ATG'ers with a 37mm were around) I have a scenario, "Raid on Madrid" about finished.....as soon as Quinxi play tests it! In it you have T-26 running rampant over the Spanish country side in 1937....kings of the hill.

Hans
T-26? (from an email), T is for 'Target' and 26 is the amount of time in seconds that the gunners laughs before he blows it away....
bodman
With apologies to gunnergoz, I have to admit that while reading this thread I was laughing so hard that I was crying. Thank you so much for the laughs.
Hans
Well Bodman I see you think this serious discussion about researching a proper name for the T-26 is being written for your amusement? Well actually it is. Oh I have a devilish idea to further annoy poor Gunnergoz, should we start to call him 'T-26'...... If a rocket launcher is called a 'stalin's organ' what would a T-26 be? Stalin's ????? hemorhoid? rattle?, phlem? ideas?
Chad Harrison
A nice distraction to new players who think that they bought a cheap tank that has a nice gun!

WWB
I remember one battle I was making where I just kept giving the allies more T26s to try and balance the thing. I finally got to 30 T26s & 10 BTs vs 5 PzIIs and 5 Pz28ts before I gave up and put in a few T34s. WWB
Snarker
I've just decided. A T-26 is just like a halftrack with a gun. Only it can't provide armor protection for it's passengers. Oh, and it lights up faster. Oh, yeah, it's gun isn't as effective either. On second thought, I'll take the halftrack.
von Schtinker
I don't believe I've ever laughed harder at a CM thread! Some of you have perhaps missed your real calling. Grisha
Well, the Soviet tankers had their own names for the T-26, BT-7, and the like in 1941. One was "sparrow shooter" and another one was "knights in plywood."
AnonymousOxide
Name it a Street fighter character. Who's the worst Street Fighter character in street fighter history? I've always hated Dalsim, his moves are so gamey, but then again Ryu's fire-ball bolock is uber-gamey so of-course all the gosu-l33t Asians think he's the best. I mean I guess Ryu is the best character, but that just means it takes less skill to use him effectivelly, so there's nothing to be proud of if you win with him a lot. If you win with E. Honda all the time for example, then you're focking good. Well damn, the suckiest character is Ryu then, because any n00b can stay on the edge of the screen and fling fire-balls at a jumping up-and-down Dalsim who's desperately trying to get a weak kick in but can't because the huge voly of plasma balls is only allowing him 1/4th a second for any attacks. But if you named the tank Ryu, then everyone who doesn't understand that it takes no skill to win with Ryu will think we're considering the T-26 the Ryu of Russky tanks, which it is clearly not. Richard Morgan
How about "Upended bathtub on tracks"? Seriously, I think that the WW1 British Mk 1 was a more potent AFV. Cheers, Richard
