Pelican Pal
Saw this Youtube short So tripod mounted in-game seem to be modeled correctly.
MikeyD
Did you know the ancient Greeks invented the automatic Ballista? Firing off one bolt after another - bam-bam-bam like a gatling gun. The design was a failure, though, because the weapon was too accurate. It would drop all the bolts in the same spot. If you're firing on an approaching phalanx you'd want some dispersion. A grenade throwing weapon would want some dispersion for the same reason, to enlarge the affected footprint. Remember that old joke, 'close' only counts playing horse shoes... and hand grenades.

Distance to target 307 meters From the target's perspective These are from the Al Amarah scenario.
Artkin
That is really not good especially considering most/all youtube videos shown are in TRAINING. Now you have a veteran stryker with a hard mounted ags performing worse than a tripod ags on a training ground.
Vergeltungswaffe
It's certainly too inaccurate in the game, but I wonder if BFC viewed it as too much of a wonder weapon in their initial testing with really good accuracy?
Pelican Pal
The game has reduced HE effect to help out with some of the simulation problems. AFAIK this would be the first time Battlefront intentionally nerfed a weapons accuracy

BamaMatt
Good news. The bug has been fixed. Just saw the proper behavior displayed in a recent Professional edition video from Usually Hapless.
