Chainsaw
Isn't that a Kangaroo? Or is that one of the carriers? Mord. Looks like the Lloyd Carrier to me
Chek
Isn't that a Kangaroo? Or is that one of the carriers? Mord. My first thought is that it was a Sherman but the turret appears to be missing,so strewth it could be a roo mate.
Chek
I don't see a kangaroo in the list tho so could be a Lloyd.Still that profile looks very Sherman like to me though.
Paper Tiger
I'd say that the Sherman's turret is hidden by the tree Churchills at last! I don't know why but I have always loved wargaming with these beasts. The wait is over
Fetchez la Vache
Sure. And "Combat Mission: Battle for Normandy, Brittany, and bits of other areas of France like Pais de la Loire" would be a more accurate title than "Combat Mission: Battle for Normandy", but it's not as catchy. (Edit to note: Personally, I was advocating for "CM:Brits 'n Chums", but apparently BFC saw things otherwise) I was in error - should have been "21st Army Group". My bad. That doesn't sound catchy I agree. :-) Monty's Mongers? Colossal Cracks? (stolen from the book of that title...) Tommies, Canucks and Jam Rolls? Time for Tea?
A Canadian Cat
Isn't that a Kangaroo? Or is that one of the carriers? Ooooo, that would be cool. It looks like a Sherman chassis. That tree makes it hard to say for sure. Either way it will be fun to play the Canadians (and the Brits and Poles)
akd
Look at the tracks...
A Canadian Cat
Look at the tracks... OK I looked again. It looks like Sherman / Kangaroo tracks to me. What do you think they look like? Course it is kind of hard to tell with so few pixels.
GLynn41
it might be much more accurate as to what is or is not if we wait unitl the gamecomes out? of course where is the fun in that
Michael Emrys
I'd say that the Sherman's turret is hidden by the tree That gets my vote. Michael
Michael Emrys
Monty's Mongers? Good lord no! Colossal Cracks? That could be misconstrued. Tommies, Canucks and Jam Rolls? What? Time for Tea? Now that's more like it. Michael
Mord
Look at the picture, again...I don't think the turret is obscured...you'd be able to see at least a little bit of it around the tree. You can see a guy's head sticking up. But after looking at some pics online I am gonna concur with Chainsaw and say it's the Lloyd carrier... Mord.
Elmar Bijlsma
The vehicle is almost certainly a Loyd Carrier. You can tell by how far the tracks stick out past the glacis and the two thingies pointing down towards the suspension. The tracks being higher at the front is another clue. If the turret of a Sherman was behind the tree it would be too far to the rear (and as Mord mentions, too small).

Michael Emrys
I think it's obvious that much of what is in these screenshots is in an preliminary state, and we ought to be careful of drawing too many conclusions from them. noob
So, as the months tick by I was wondering when we might see the next module being released, or at least get some screen shots or a run down of the TOE??? I've been following the forum for news and maybe I missed it, after all I do have a life and can't spend all day surfing, but any news would be good. Thanks CTID98 If you can't spend all day surfing you haven't got a life
noob
Wasp is not on the list. Did you mean Wespe? Isn't a Wespe just a posh Wasp ?
Sergei
No, a Vespa is (especially the French airborne version with a 75mm RR)
futon river crossing
Maybe their holding back the Crocks and wasps for the big reveal - i certainly hope so
Kanonier Reichmann
I can only hope and pray that's the case. Combat Mission without any flamethrowers, Wasps or Crocs is a bit of a crock IMO. Regards KR
Michael Emrys
Maybe their holding back the Crocks and wasps for the big reveal - i certainly hope so Unless BFC decided to invest major coding effort into getting fire into the game and achieved a breakthrough, I wouldn't expect to see them this time around. Perhaps in the final "all the stuff we skipped in the first three issues" module... Michael
Sergei
I have it on good authority that the CW soldiers will be wearing Crocs.
Paper Tiger
Crocodiles and wasps would require FIRE to be coded into the game with all that it entails. I doubt very much that we'll see FIRE in CMBN and suspect that it will be a feature in the next CMx2 title. FWIW, this is pure speculation on my part an I'd love to be wrong.
