  1. A nice up to date how to manual, instead of letting customers argue about it with name calling etc. Recommending target tools which clearly don't work. Unit A gets LOS when you think great Unit A could target from that square. Put identical Unit B there the No LOS pops up. It took me a few years to figure out how this is possible but nothing the manual says about it.
  2. Trouble is CM is not in the Window Store, so Game Bar is wonky. Nvidia GeForce also doesn't recognize Battlefront Games, so you need the settings of the Windows to play with. It was fine on my laptop but not on my desktop. A screen recorder just made for CM Games could be a solution.
  3. A decent screen recorder would go a long way. What works on my laptop doesn't work on my desktop. Something CM should offer its customers.
  4. Ok if you're happy my method is very much foolproof. Use it for FO's HMGs Mortars and the like. But spotting is relative, and a rifleman may get LOS but later you put an HMG there he doesn't.
  5. Politics is off topic. I must add that I am pro-Israel. Their claim is valid and goes back now 8000 years. The Dutch were just standing by when they were transported like cattle. I call this rich.
  6. Every scenario is a training scenario. Save often and replay and learn from the mistakes. Questions why does the AI shoots first, why don't my scouts spot anything? It is fun to solve these problems.
  7. The Road to Nijmegen first battle. The Tripod mounted Browning MG I found the sweet spot for this weapon, and it meant to pull it back towards the wheatfield near the road. I left it with the Company HQ who was in contact with the Platoon HQ and later the FO. In this fashion the weapon was used like light artillery. Germans in buildings and behind hedges were easily suppressed. There is a trick with the move tool you can use to find the best position for these weapons.
  8. I think there is only one war criminal and that is the guy who starts it. Pointing fingers just to make war acceptable somehow is losing one's focus.
  9. Thank you and counterbattery fire? By the CW period mortars needed to relocate ASAP in view of the radar coordinates they leave behind. I was advocating Quick Missions for this reason after you will get unpleasant consequences.
  10. I bet they don't tell us everything. We see the puppet play but we know nothing about the puppeteer. From the Indonesian Wajang Kulit or Shadow Play.
  11. Anschluss of Austria resulted in 30% attrition of mobile units. I think it is a good figure for the war and includes Tigers and Panthers. Joking apart Michael Wittman lost a few tanks but he survived but didn't survive his last engagement. Crew Morale for this vehicle was high because of the survival factor.
  12. Yes, I see often conscripts manning JS2 tanks. Also, for the German salespitch for the Tiger was but the crew survived numerous engagements for the last six months. The German doctrine I assume was different from the Soviets although the two tank types are similar.
  13. We use a computer playing this game and playing a game in which computers and other digital tools are used may make it easier to mimic reality.
  14. I let the MG42 in the heavy role fire at good tentative contacts. A good C2 is necessary to be effective, do the same with US and British MGs. The German MG42 is more versatile as it can fight when it is not yet deployed.
  15. Not important for me somebody tested it and it doesn't show evidence that changing travel modes helps bogged vehicles. To prove otherwise you need to test it. Not bickering on the forums about it. I take the word from experienced players who like testing.
  16. If you feel strong about it I would test it. Just save the game and test to see what works.
  17. Plot a fast move order and see what the game engine does. Corners, fording etc the vehicle slows down. You can do fast with a tank with passengers, the tank travels slower than a tank without passengers. So it makes sense to let a tank with passengers travel on hunt with a dismount for the passengers. Once the tank stops to engage the passengers at least dismount. Unless it makes tactical sense for vehicles, go fast. Hunting for example with a jeep is silly, speed is his only protection.
  18. I done my fair share of unbogging. Four-wheel drives have a winch in the front for that purpose. Reversing just makes it worse. I think it is correctly modelled, get a little time to get free and then get immobilized.
  19. Save the game and try to get going. 1000 times not doing anything, 1000 times slow and a thousand times reverse. Publish your findings TBH I couldn't be bothered.
  20. I think it is a leftover from the earlier game. Slow simulated using a lower gear but I believe it is not longer the case. Different move modes is required for the tactics used not for much else imo.
  21. Japanese couldn't shoot straight because of the anatomical differences of Mongoloid eyes and were basically unfit. The ones I met were very fit and had excellent eyesight. British POWS, I salute you with this post, Imo the Chinese won't tell on social media, you won't find a You Tuber with the name of Captain Chang explaining Chinese tactics and doctrine.
  22. There is no evidence that anything will unbog a vehicle.
