CMBS Winter Mod - INTRO After release of the CMRT Complete Snowy Roofs on cmmods, I think that it is the right time to finish a idea that @waclaw first presented in the CMBS screenshots thread. Then in scenario editor open some .btt scenario or QB map, tag it with [snow], change weather conditions and some grass with dirt, you will get: Of course there are some modern elements missing and some textures don't fit well. Also there is no winter jackets for infantry (can anyone help here?), but good thing is that modern vehicles most of the time don't use whitewash so modding process should be somehow easier and it’s not so bad to see even the default camo on the battleffield. More than enough for a nice start . Project is more than open to comments, critics, ideas and especially moding involvement is welcomed. Cheers.

To make 2nd install for QBs on Mac is even easier. Just duplicate CM Red Thunder folder. Then in one install Winter Mod UI elements http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=2892 Only be careful to have just one CMRT open at a time as 2 CMs open will drain OSX memory. Thank you all.

Quick Battle doesn't recognize tags so one way is to download every CMRT Winter Mod from CMMODs than untag textures with software like: For QB removing snow tags on Mac http://mrrsoftware.com/namechanger/ try on Windows something like: http://alternativeto.net/software/renamer/ Then you and opponent put everything in "z" folder. But this will winterize all scenarios and QB so remove mod when spring comes . I think that Kohlenklau still has everything untagged on his Dropbox so PM him. Hybrid QB are basically scenarios for tagged version. You can open any QB .btt in scenario editor, tag it with [snow coat] and voila
