The Spike is a tripod based ATGM system, not shoulder fired like a korsar or javelin. It comes in several variants: a short range version, range about 1500m; a medium range version, range 2500m; a long range version (also known as 'Gil'), range about 4-4.4k. Only the MR and LR versions are top attack capable. The Azeris have 100 of the LR version.

Yep it did. According to the Turks the tank changed position after it was hit and took out 10 ISIS fighters.

Can you be more specific on the playing aid you require? Unfamiliar with the CMx1 games. I tried Afrika Korps after playing CMx2 and didn't like it at all.

All the sources I have read say that the ATGM launcher were removed from BRM-1Ks. And the original BMP-1s had a turret mounted ATGM system. Are you sure there wasn't a BPM-2 hiding in the rear of the BRM? That is the only thing I can think of...
