    •Description:
    Background sounds without gunfight.

    Update 02/06/2015 :

    With Hister's suggestions and the help of Optimus:

    Night sounds were subdued - now they are on the same voice level as day sounds.


    Two versions of rain sound are available:

    With and without Thunder.

    *Keep the rain sound version you want by naming it "background rain" and you are good to go.

    I play Iron and We-go on all CM title minus one, CMBS  with this one i play real time with pauses at 30% and at that pause, i reload all.

    i switched computers, browser and connection (was in ADSL, tried Wi-Fi and even tried at one friend's home) always same problem...
     
    will patiently wait for the disk as i preordered.
     
    Hope BF will think of another way of distribution for their next works.

    You are welcome, in ground 10 part you'll find the distant terrain, it should fix the problem with that and give a better look to large maps.

    Generally speaking, some texture colors are different than the vanilla ones, so the entire mod might have a better or worse look in some maps, due to the fact that in some cases the Tiles were chosen by the scenario creators because they blended toghether nicely, and it might be not the same with the HD mod on.
    I have checked some maps within scenarios and campaigns and was pleased with the result in most cases.

    All in all I'd say that the mod fits the game but for the only exception of "optional highway mod", which is good only for new maps, because all older maps/scenarios/campaigns won't have a good looking highway with that mod on.

    Anyway, horizons/sky etc. have been submitted too. Unfortunately there are some glitches I couldn't find a way to correct within horizons textures, but I decided to release them anyway.

    As promised, here is a BETA version of my sound mod combining all previous work into one universal mod for CMx2 titles.  There may also be a few small updates since my last release, but don't expect big changes if you have previously used my mod in CMSF or the WWII titles.  There are specific modules for modern sounds so you can pull them out for the WWII titles, although any problematic overlaps should be minimal.

    Yet another set uploaded.
     
    This time it is a full set of SPW 251d german halftracks that has been lightly sprinkled with snow. Get them here

    The mod tag [snow] should ensure that these mods only show up in games with snowy ground conditions.

    The base textures are - as always - made by Aris, I only applied the snow. As far as I can tell, Aris haven´t made any CMFI mods of the spw 251´s. So these are based on his mods for CMBN.

    The Panzer IV G and IV H mods have been uploaded
    The files have been supplied with the the mod tags [snow] or [mainland snow]. The tags should ensure that these mods only show up in games with snowy ground conditions. You can even use them in a snow battle in Sicily in july 1943 - if you like
     
    The base textures are - as always - made by Aris, I only applied the snow.

    Hi Chad,

    I do have a combined version of my CMSF mod and more recent WWII title mod that I have been using. I'm not 100% happy with some of the overlaps, but I will probably release it as a beta when the game launches.

    702 x 224 OpMap. work in progress but I have tentatively designated my 6 battle areas. Now I will look at benpark's Ortona master map to see what to crop and also look at other maps to slightly alter. borg is helping with the decision maps while he learns the editor. Heirloom_tomato is also going to maybe take a swing at one of those or flesh out one of those battle boxes with a juicy "see-nar-ee-oh" as JonS would say it.
     
    It seems I finally might have a campaign factory going!
