  1. boche - Sorry but I wouldn't feel comfortable amending Saferight's stuff. If you want to tweak your own downloaded version then I use a free prog called Fotosketcher (coloured pencil setting). Great little prog. Easily available on the internet.
  2. Thanks again Boche - here's the screens you requested plus some extras. This version includes all screens to date. Download screen pack v2 - http://www50.zippyshare.com/v/kgIAoV68/file.html
  3. The first Mord Mod. Now it feels like a new CM game. Great work.
  4. Thanks for the comments, guys. Much appreciated. Mord - I know, I was slow off the mark. I can only apologise! Boche - Music only download - http://www25.zippyshare.com/v/8nRrUFqM/file.html agusto - 9 Blue and Red force loading screens can be downloaded here. Samples below. Force selection download - http://www53.zippyshare.com/v/Al2veNNV/file.html
  5. Similar to my mods for CMSF. Replacement 'choral' music with news snippets mixed in. Mods the intro, loading and end music. Also includes a splash (screenie below) 7-ZIP DOWNLOAD (75mb) - http://www71.zippyshare.com/v/vyoR1ZtD/file.html
  6. Aquatica.. Perhaps a good starting point would be a voice mod converting them to SA. You'd need to save the new voices as wav files, and name them the same as the voice files you wish to replace. A 'script' is available by listening to the current voices. If you and some friends got together to provide a mix of voices it might work well. Assume you could put some stock English accents in there too as there might have been some ex-pats.
  7. No worries. Cool. Btw. Noticed no emoticons in quick reply. Dangerous. BF need to sort that.
  8. BLSTK It was meant in jest. And as my reply shows I'm happy to take a jest in return.....we cool?
  9. Mjkerner - the CMBO French files were used for the mod I mention. Hope they help. And as others have said the CMSF stuff would be a good source. BLSTK....huh? So you're serious. Man, life's too short. Nice suggestion re: the tag tho. Has a good ring to it. Perhaps I'll change it.
  10. I incl some French voices in the a CMSF NATO uni mod. Check out the Repository. You'll have to rename them as currently ref to Canadians, if memory serves.
  11. Syrian mods The Irregulars mod (3) should be used as a stand alone. It may clash with 1 & 2 if all used together. Mord's Mixed Combatants http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=314&func=fileinfo&id=1505 Mixes hooded and non hooded Syrian Combatants into a squad to give more of a hodge podge feel to their ranks. Mord's Civil War mod http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=314&func=fileinfo&id=2283 Turns Syrian Reservists and Militia, Infantry, Tank crews and AFV crews into street clothes wearing fighters. Combine this with my Mixed Combatants mod and you have a nice recipe for civil war type scenarios (Vs Syrian Mech, Guards, Airborne or SF) or insurgent fighters who have gotten their hands on some better weaponry. Irregulars (Muji Mod) http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=314&func=fileinfo&id=2305 This replaces Syrian insurgents/irregular forces with Afghans and some of Mord's mixed combatants.Credit to Mord, Bill Lockton and Smaragdadler for use of some of their mods. Syrian Infantry 2013 http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=314&func=fileinfo&id=2975 This download contains a rar file of amended Syrian 3D infantry models, uniforms, helmets & faces to better resemble those used by the Syrian regime in 2013 (i.e. now use the m97 helmet). It completely replaces the basic Syrian infantry/Republican Guard in CMSF. It uses mods by other authors as well as myself. All credit to Birdstrike, Mord, M1A1TC, Aris and any other authors I may have missed. It is intended for use with SCW scenarios. WARNING: This mod alters the appearance of the reserve/regular Syrian infantry by replacing them with the 3D model for special forces. It should not be used with other Syrian infantry mods. Special forces mods are unaffected.
  12. Okay. Just to be clear. Are you saying you still have a problem? List what you're missing. I'm sure someone will have it.
  13. All of my and Mord's Syria mods are still available from the repository if you need them. A quick search will sort you out if you can't find them in your personal library.
  14. You'll 8*%$ up the mod. Not all uniform mods have this problem. It's mainly to do with model swapping/avoiding clashes with stock bmps. Each 3D model has various texture bmps allocated to it. Example bmps for uniform, face etc. The 3D model looks for these specific bmps when it's loaded. These allocations are hardwired into the 3D model and can only be changed via hex editing. Example - I decide I want to make a mod which - 1) replaces the normal syrian infantry with the syrian special forces 3D model. 2) And, once this is done, allocate a new uniform to my new infantry to replace the original syrian special forces black uniform which that model has allocated to it. 3) However, I want the original Special forces [which still exist] to keep their black uniforms Swapping the model is easy. Basically, it's a matter of copying and renaming one model to the same name as the other. However, the special forces 3D model even when renamed as basic infantry will still look for the old black uniforms unless I hex edit the 3D file to tell it not to. Basically, I tell it to look for new bmps with a new name, for example pyrian, ryrian etc. If I didn't do this I wouldn't be able to achieve point 2 and 3 above. So, the oddly named files should not be renamed or the mod they're allocated to will not work as intended. They'll unlikely to show up at all (hence the black spots) as the mod is looking for a specific bmp name.
  15. No. Those names are intended and correct. As I mentioned in the other thread Mord's and some of my mods use different bmp names to avoid clashes. Have you reinstalled mord's mod as suggested? Post a screenshot of the offending model so it narrows things down.
  16. That shouldn't be too difficult. Uncon - did you have Mord's mod? Or the Irregulars muji mod installed? Syria - did you have stock models with modded unis or something like the mod I describe above which swapped in a diff 3d model?
  17. Sounds like you've deleted part of a uni mod by mistake. Some of my mods swap in alternative 3d models which use renamed bmps (to avoid clashes with stock files). For example the Syria 2013 infantry mod replaces stock soldier models with special forces. A reinstall of the offending mod should fix it. This does of course require you knowing which one caused the problem. If you had one of my mods installed. Just do a reinstall.
  18. Always good to see your releases. Played Op Glacier 1 the other day in fact. Please Keep 'em coming.
  19. A search in the repository using Ramadi reveals.... Scenario - USMC Ramadi (IRAQ): Relief of JOKER 3 Download (Scenarios & Campaigns) Map - Ramadi Government Center FULL_UPLOAD.zip Download (Maps) On the latter, LLF's accompanying text states "At long last I am uploading the full Ramadi Government Center map to the Repository, for the productive use and enjoyment of any and all. I find it unlikely that I will be doing further scenario design in the near future, but I look forward to seeing what the community may do with it. For those not familiar, this map faithfully recreates the 1.7km x 750m urban core of Ramadi, Iraq, a key battleground during the US-led Anbar counterinsurgency of 2004 - 2007. The main east-west highway, Route 10, aka "Main Supply Route (MSR) MICHIGAN" and the Anbar Government Center, nominal and besieged seat of the US-backed Anbar Governorate are the central elements of the map, together with the huge Saddam Mosque, the city cemeteries and the market district. There is no scenario and no AI plan...."
  20. I retro-fitted Aris' excellent CMBN faces to fit CMSF. Basically some cloning, resizing and pasting. As these are 99% Aris' work it didn't feel appropriate to send them to the Repository.
  21. Here's some screenies to showcase Kieme's excellent terrain/building mods. Mainly based on the UK-Armoured Assault scenario.
  22. Sergei thanks for the response. Back to plan B. I'll fill up the spare slots of the existing objects.
  23. Is it possible to import a flavor object plus relevant bmps and have that model/button show up in the map editor by amending the strings.txt file? eg. 1. New cart 3d object & appropriate editor button bmps copied across to a mod folder. 2. Cart mentioned in strings.txt However, when I go into the editor it isn't shown as an available object to place in the 3d map. I know I can do it by renaming the object to match the existing 3d object types but was hoping I could add a new editor option for the object so it would be less confusing for map makers. Hope this makes sense.
