  2. I would like a "transfer" button. You walk into the same square as another unit and swap whatever equipment and ammo you like. For example you squad with no bazooka but rockets could give them to a squad that has a bazooka but no rounds.

  4. I have patiently waited the three or four minutes for my 57mm to limber up. Can it be attached to a jeep or do you need a larger vehicle? Should there be a command to tow? Is it given to the towing vehicle to hitch up or the gun to attach to the vehicle? Thanks in advance.
  5. If you know the absolute of every game mechanic it just becomes a game of chess. There needs to be some "unknowns" to keep it real. In RL you know a good from a bad leader but is he a 0, +1 or a +2? As said earlier a leader will help in any situation and a better leader will help more.
  6. Probably common knowledge but I only heard of it yesterday. Alt - j removes the horrible bright green shading to the VP area for a much nicer looking map.
  7. You dont want to fire most weapons left handed unless you want a bolt in the chops or hot expelled cartridge in the eye. Down load a few of the uniform mods, they put a mix of uniforms and equiment that makes them look a lot different. I would like to see proper explosions rather than the pixel dots we have now.
  8. I thought about that but sometimes they take longer than anticipated to fire.
  9. While they are at it add a "fire ATG only" button. My anti tank team snuck up on a Stuart and I issued an attack order. They fired their faust which only damaged the tank. Rather than take cover they stood in plain view firing thier rifles until the turret rotated and blew them to pieces.
  10. But even after they have got the first couple of shots out they can be a lottery as how well they get taken out.
  11. Does the game always end when the clock reaches zero? In my first game the clock went red and we carried on for a few turns before we agreed a cease fire? Do I understand it that you have to have sole occupancy of the VP zone?
  12. I have played less than a dozen games so maybe not qualified to comment but I have found the TRP to be very powerful in PBEM. They allow for almost instant un-spotted arty which I think is both unrealistic and not in keeping with the game. I can understand the defenders having them but otherwise I think they are OP or far too cheap.
  13. They should disappear if you scout the area on the map. At the moment you have a bunch of guys saying there is a bunch of krauts in the farm house and you have a squad in the farm house saying there sure as s**t aren't. Yet the ? still remains.
  14. Ok thanks. I will use the ammo bearers as a scout team. The annoying thing is the shot that hit them missed the intended target that was about 100m in front of it!!!
  15. Just wondering if you can re-crew an ATG? A lost the crew to a US 76 ATG by a near miss HE shell. The ammo bearers survived. Will they re-crew the weapon?
  16. An app that sorts all your PBEM turns for you. It copies all your turns in and out of drop box automatically for you as well as letting you know who's turn it is. It also has a neat little chat box so you can communicate with your foe. If you want to play HTH you really want the App. PM greenasjade and he will sort you out.
  17. I would go with that and it would probably be the easiest to programme/implement.
  18. Would it be possible for for an invalid movement command to be highlighted in a similar way to the LOS marker when you try to move some where you can't? I had an incident earlier where I tried to move a tiger about 20m through what looked like a low hedge. The hedge turned out to be bocage so the tiger decided to use its initiative and plot a 250m detour in the complete opposite direction through enemy territory to reach its destination!!!
  19. Thanks for all the replays. I do have a lot of Mods (thumbs up for all their hard work) and they do make a big difference. Its the hits on the ground that look like a shower of pixels as Fuser said and they look much better in the ipad clip.
  20. I find the explosions caused by arty (and vehicle HE) pretty dissapointing. They look like a shower of dots and nothing like a shower of dust and debris and I have all the graphic settings on max. I have tried an advanced search without any luck so was wondering if anyone new of a good explosions mod for the game? Thanks
  21. I have a platoon leader with a radio about 100m from the company HQ with a radio. Neither unit has taken any casualties. Why does it say that the platoon leader is out of C2?

  24. The "end" button on my main screen doesnt deem to end the game. I think it has been like thince since the start, only had the game a little over a week ago. The only way to close the game seems to be ctrl-alt-del? Any one else come across this?
