Hmm.... The movie used to be free on Amazon Prime.
Yeah. I was watching The Wolf's Call submarine movie last month and now you have to pay for it in June.

I played the Warsaw 44 operation in CMBB just months ago. Seeing this resurrected in CM2 with FR would be a great thing.
About the movie, never saw it, is there a way to watch it in Polish with English subtitles somewhere?
I watched it on Amazon. It was definetly worth the $2.99 rental:

There is also a documentary with a lot of historical footage out there but I don't remember the name of it. It was not subtitled the last time I saw it, but the footage was originally silent anyway.

I haven't seen it mentioned but has anyone had a problem with saving a game over another game and the new save not being saved (new .bts file not written)?

Lol. Uh... 1944...

There is a short window in which the Axis side has one Commander position open for a semi-experienced player (as of May 30th 2021). Must be willing to work as a team for the glory of the Reich.
The setting is early morning, September 1945 on the outskirts of the town of Radzy. The Axis forces are preparing to engage a Soviet force of unknown size and unknown composition. Neither side has entered the town. A fierce tank battle is raging directly to the east.
In a word the game is going to be challenging. This is the quiet before the storm, right at the very beginning of the battle.

@Erwin, don't you think the 'gods eye' view can be both a blessing and a curse because LoS can be very misleading from that view. I would at least like a button I could press that gave me LoS with the terrain features blacked/grayed out I can't see from my unit's position. Having to drag the cursor around is time consuming.
-
I really liked the LoS tools in the Graviteam Tactics games. Sort of a colored arc what you could and couldn't see.

Well that leaves no doubt who is who.

That is my history too. Peng and I would play that because we no longer lived close enough to play ASL anymore. Once the CM1 beta demo came out we never looked back.
So does ASL come after Crescendo of Doom or more... along side it?

So, BFC, what are you releasing next Friday? I just want to clear my schedule...
So what'd I miss yesterday? Did BFC release a patch to Final Blitzkrieg that lets you play any front starting with 1939 Poland?

I last played the Metagame version when I was a kid. There is now a PC version of Ogre on Steam - anyone tried it?
Yeah. It's a work in progress on Steam, being actively developed.

With the way things are going, it's prolly the Combat Mission:Starship Troopers.
Or...
Wait for it...

The file is .rar / .pkg files are dated 4/29/21 on the downloader page, so I submit that those who guessed Thursday the 29th are technically correct!
.. Is anyone buying that?
If you could download it then, then I'll give it some credit, otherwise, I'm not buying it!

All these releases make me feel Ike a kid again!

I had the earliest time on April 30th, so I shall claim victory.
But, as @mbarbaric says above, a CM release is a win for all of us.
7:30 AM Eastern Time April 30th is my official release time (based on my 41st email time).
Congratulations @Vergeltungswaffe! Show him some luv!

Wow - we are cutting it fine! We are already into the morning of the last day in April here in Australia. Still hopeful and fingers crossed for an April release - especially with the weekend coming up!
We'll cut 'em some slack and give them midnight... In Alaska.

10am CDT (since it's not standard time at the moment)
So is CST and CDT different due to daylight savings time? I did not know that. You learn something new everyday.
-
That's 3 for April 30th. @DesertFox @Panzerpanic I guess we need to add times. I'll go with 3:00pm CST.

I'll go April 30th also, but it's academic because nothing will pry me away from FR for a while.
I'm really looking forward to trying my hand at pre Abrams and post Abrams. The difference has to be huge, but these early Abrams are not the tanks of Black Sea or Shock Force 2, even.
105mm, Fire Control not as spiffy. Are there significant armor differences vs kinetic penetrators?
