Nobody else is complaining? Never has been? I must be either real special then or you must have burried all those other complainers somewhere deep.  So all the folks who said them frames are low since I started reading these forums many moons ago don't count? 🤨 20-30 frames are regarded normal for this game. I see slideshow at that count. While many people don't see a problem there, I do. Steve mentioned game update (was it last year?) will bring optimisations and I have been awaiting those.

I am holding on new purchases until we get game optimizations (engine 5?). Low frames are killing me.

I know this continued terror bombing campaign is mostly for internal propaganda purposes. So Putin can still look like a "strong man" in front of the bloodthirsty RU Nats.
But from a Western perspective it looks like RU is doing everything in its power to prove that President Zelenskyy is right, that Russia is a dangerous terrorist state and Ukraine needs more military support to defend itself.
My heart goes out to all the innocent Ukrainian civilians that are suffering because of this madness.

Aye, this battle pack is set during the fighting between the German and Soviet armies in eastern Poland during the summer of 1944. This fighting was some of the heaviest on the Eastern Front during the entire war. This battle pack presents a series of actions recreating key moments in this fighting through the perspective of the forces involved during July and August.
It’s been a real labour of love. The genesis of this battle pack was the  series of images in the photo book Kampfgruppe Mühlenkamp published by RZM and authored by Douglas Nash and Remy Spezzano. On the back of this I started work on what became the Five Days One Summer campaign which is the key campaign of this battle pack.
This battle pack would never have got anywhere without the help and support of a whole bunch of others. I would like to give a huge shout out to all those including the BFC beta testers for all the playtesting, feedback, advice and support. I am also indebted to Mr Douglas Nash for his freely given help and support in clarifying some of the details involved in several actions involving ‘Wiking’, notably the fighting around Tluszcz in mid-August 1944. If you’ve not checked out his recent trilogy “From the Realm of a Dying Sun” its well worth doing so for the background to this battle pack. Also worth having a look at is the “Operation Bagration 23 June-29 August 1944” by the Soviet General Staff which gives a ‘big picture’ view of the Soviet operations in this period.
I hope you all, as the players enjoy these scenarios and campaigns as much as I did researching and creating them. As always, I’d appreciate any comment and feedback and I look forward to seeing how this collection of scenarios and campaigns plays out for yourselves.

Russia is an empire. Throne can only be held by an emperor. An emperor can't be democratic or liberal by definition so in this regard it's hard to know what alternative can even be considered better. Whoever replaces putin will need to keep waging expansionist wars to keep an empire together.
 

Because Navalny fully supported actions of Russia when he was playing the role of the "controlled opposition" (the imaginary state-allowed opposition so that the West wouldn't be complaining too much since Russia pretends to be "democratic" and all). He made really derogatory comments about Georgians and about Ukrainians, he was supportive of the war in 2008 and of Crimea annexation - while everything was going well for him and Russia faced zero consequences.
However after russian invasion of Donbass and ever increasing sanctions - at some point he had a major falling out with putin and was sent to prison. So of course now that he is in a bad position - he realizes his only chance of improving it is to pretend he's all "truly" liberal and pro-Western so he has at least some "allies" of worth.
His real position was pre-prison and it was imperialistic one. Everything he says now is only to save his sorry ***. Even then there's still a question you got to ask yourself - in Russia people "walked out of the window" for much less in the past 7 months. Why is Navalny still fine?

Virtually everything but the Abrams is an eggshell armed with a hammer, at that point it is all about who has the fastest hammer. These might be a stealthy winner.

Those, who don't look at T-55 name, but at what inside the tank, say this is perfect tank, especially its gun with full digital FCS and APFSDS rounds, which have better penetration, than 125 mm Mango. I think, theese tanks can be placed to some air-assault or marines brigade either as "line tanks" or like "infantry support tank"  

I don't think so even a WW 2 Sherman the crew had a good chance it could survive a penetration. According the Chieftain 1500 were KIA from Normandy till VE Day. That's what we see every day the T72 any NATO unit can target it and upon penetration the crew just vaporizes. Let alone a T 55 with a 105mm L7 cannon. A tank is obsolete in other words. The APS and Smoke devices on NATO tank offer a good deal of protection. I believe it is all highly classified. Like Battlefront stated with their formula, you can't have a cheap and quick system it won't have the quality required. Abrams not cheap, as a result you have a quick quality system to face the enemy. 

I think it might do quite well, it has hunter-killer capability with the stabilised commander's sight (something even Russian T-72B3s lack). Does it have thermal optics for the gunner? My assumption is it probably does not have CITV, but that's a very rare capability for both Russian and Ukrainian tanks anyway.

I don't know what kind of ERA the M-55S uses other than it's Israeli, so I do not know how effective it will be against kinetic penetrators. It should be sufficient against ATGMs and RPGs.

I'd assume it has upgraded radio and communication systems, not the piece of **** R-113 found on the original T-55.

All in all, like I said, it's probably fine for general tank duties. May not be competitive in head-to-head fights against T-72B3s, T-80BVMs, or T-90Ms, but that's really not what you should be aiming for anyway.

You can defend a position like a mobile pillbox. You can't attack with it. If it can be spotted it is history. It can be targeted by any infantry unit; it can be penetrated, and the crew can be killed. So it must remain camouflaged. 

I think it should be fine for infantry support and general tank duties, as long as it's not trying to go head-to-head against T-90Ms etc.

The biggest issue is now Ukraine will have to source 105 mm L7 ammunition, since it did not use any up until now, though I assume NATO should be able to supply its needs given how prolific the L7 tanks are.
