    Wow, almost 3 months since I opened this thread and decided to try and do FRANCE 1940.
    We have the BRONZE out there. 16 folders of initial mods and 4 FR40A scenarios.
    Now we have the SILVER out there. It contains: a patch folder for BRONZE boo-boos, 4 folders of BRONZE "plus ups" (extras), a bonus scenario FR40A STUG HUG, then the SILVER mods (8 folders) and 6 FR40B scenarios.
    Looking forward to GOLD...I have 7 mod folders that will most likely grow to 8 or 9. Special stuff I have just done like the roadblocks. I have several FR40C scenarios in the works. 
    Do you want to write a scenario for the mod? Hold on! Let me have somebody cuter ask...

    More on the roadblocks. I was happy to see Infantry seem to have to zig zag through in a realistic way. They definitely did not just glide through like it was not there.

    I tested the 2 roadblocks as flavor objects with the transparent hedgehogs and it acted odd.
    I now have the 2 different roadblocks in the game as 2 knocked-out trucks (US 6x6 and the Italian Fiat truck).
    They get in the game by the scenario author knowing how the mod works and knowing how to do allied versus allied -or- axis versus axis purchasing.
    They are deployable by the side that "owns" them and when fired upon they give the sound of a truck being hit and can eventually light on fire. They block movement of vehicles.

    I built some fun roadblocks. But my image host site is acting odd. I will post screenshots later when I can.
    It uses 2 new haystack flavor objects. These 2 flavor objects are placed over a hedgehog obstacle that has a transparent texture. Still needs testing to see how she behaves.
    I would love to show them but imgur is still acting odd. So mon ami @Simicro gave me a new one. Merci Tony.

    Loyd carrier has a bug. Both CMFI and CMBN. 
    Starboard side roadwheel does not turn.
    3D modeller was tired that night I guess and typo named it whee5 instead of wheel5 in the model data.
    I fixed it and it now turns.
    I could offer the fix to the community but I would miss out on time and opportunity. I wouldn't be alive 58 years if I didn't know what I was doing!
    EDIT: Here is the Loyd Carrier mdr fix for CMFI and CMBN. To me this is a hobby and part of a life-long love for WW2 history, so I can work hours and hours and actually make stuff. "Make mods, not excuses."

    This is the CMFI France 1940 Mod.
    In April we posted a download link for the “BRONZE LEVEL RELEASE”.
    Now we are back with another download link to grab the "SILVER LEVEL RELEASE".
    Just a system to slowly release the mod. BRONZE then SILVER then GOLD then DIAMOND. You need them all as the mod builds upon itself and later scenarios use all the parts from the earlier releases.
    Again, my thanks to all those who helped make this possible:

    EASY INSTRUCTIONS!
    1. Put scenarios in your CMFI scenario folder.
    They have a prefix of FR40A or FR40B.
    2. Plop the mod folders in your CMFI z folder. 
    TIP: If you have tons of extra German helmets in your z from other mods…you should temporarily pull them out. 
    Or you will see an odd camo helmet on the France 1940 Germans. That would be sad.
    3. Look at the “Nice to Haves” folder and make some decisions.
    a. Do you want a different splash screen while playing the mod? Pick mine or Damian’s. 
    b. Plop the music in your z if you want a different tune as it loads.
    c. The loading screens by Damian45 are awesome. I recommend them.
    d. The String file changes the names of stuff. It is not dangerous.
    But just know it should be removed out of z if you do other stuff. If you see a couple
    versions, please just use the one that is the newest, the most recently dated when viewed in a
    folder with details. Got it?

    oh, maybe I missed your main question.
    I am pretty sure there IS a case where a set of roads has a region modtag. And it can be modtagged by modders. Fences and walls can have modtags too. Definitely there is now a bunch of season modtags for foliage. changing the leaves color or removing leaves and adding some frost. [spring] etc.
    grass and marsh and mud etc. I think there is a [snow] modtag or [cold] modtag that has a slightly altered texture.
    Have you started your Bacciano(sp?) map?

    I see it now shows the number of "views" of the page the mod is offered for download.
    I see it has a "likes" counter. 
    But it has no download counter. 
    I am fine with however it is equipped but I sure wish I knew how many downloads my stuff has. 
    My wife said she would give me a "hummer" if I get 1000 downloads.
    I mean the car, the Hummer vehicle, guys! Jeez.

    Hull: I started it as a prototype with the T-70 hull. At first I tried the Lloyd carrier to get the antique style spoked wheels but it had an odd hull in other areas. I will try to back fit the spoked wheels. Maybe add the horizontal tie bar.
    Turret: I am using the turret from the 231 8-rad. I have scaled it to .75 and doubled the mg's and deleted the cannon. I am fighting a few Blender mystery issues but so far it performs well.

    This is a difficult task. As already shown, there is a good mechanics donor in the form of L5/21. In contrast, there is a lack of donors for the 3D model. There are no vehicles on the Panzer I chassis in the CM, and there are no vehicles with a similar chassis. As far as the turret is concerned, after removal of the cannons and some rescaling, the structures from Luchs, T70 and PSW 231 are somewhat similar. Obviously, strongly extending gun barrels are needed, maybe from Stuart? Chassis? - Maybe a T70 or even better a Wiesel from CMSF2 extended by 1 wheel . Hull??? - Luchs somewhat similar ... An exceptionally difficult task ...
