  1. I do not know. I would check with my own development tools. I'll send you a PM and see what we can work out.
  2. Open top? Either way before I bring it up on the inside I'll need to verify that they will close assault a tank near a trench and will not near a building - just to be sure. No point in wasting my allotted time at the whisky tasting without having my facts straight.
  3. I would love the camera positions that you can assign to short cut keys be persisted with the game saves and email files. I would love to use this features but the fact that it does not persist means I never do.
  4. Good point guys - I actually agree. I'll bring it up at the next whisky tasting night - @c3k please remind me
  5. The Blitz is running two scenarios this month. Sign up for the January scenario of the Month has started over at the Blitz. This month the scenarios are: CMFI: R2V Casili Road (you will need the new Rome to Victory module) CMSF2: Allah's Fist SF2 The form post on theBlitz for sign up.

  7. Good timing. TheBlitz just announced the first Scenario of the Month for the year and it includes a CMSF scenario: http://www.theblitz.org/message_boards/showthread.php?tid=73083
  8. If you are doing this for play against the AI then you could take a QB map and create a scenario from it - by selecting forces yourself and assigning them to the AI groups that are there in the QB AI plans. If you are playing a PBEM against a human opponent you can use the technique I used long ago to play an extra huge battle:
  9. Nifty. I was there over the holidays but only manged to get through the Highlander exhibit and early Canada through WW2. That will have to wait for another day. PS. the museum is closed until the 10th for yearly maintenance.
  10. Click on the ghost buster symbol itself. That will select multiple games for deletion. A second click deselects it...
  11. I'm absolutely sure. Just yesterday I was playing the Mission to Maas scenario (CMFB) and happily drove my tanks around inside the towns and parked them next to buildings, spotting the troops and machinegunning them little by little. Infantry can fire rifle grenades though, that can't really hurt a Tiger II, but also M9 bazookas, that can. @Bulletpoint and @MOS:96B2P have the current behaviour correct. It does create a few incidents where the AI is at a disadvantage to the human player. I think the root of the way it works is that the use of grenades is supposed to simulate using grenade bundles and placing them at key points (engine vents, tracks, underside) that you cannot do from inside. Hence how it currently works.
  12. Ack, sounds sucky. For licensing issues you are best contacting support.
  13. Or they could spend thier time doing real work or big fixing. Or take away the ability to mod anything. That would be less work and guarantee that mods would not not mess up anything.
  14. Just for future reference you can delete saves in the game UI. In the saved game list if you hover over a game you will see a ghost Buster symbol to the right of its name. If you click on it you will select it for delete. Do that for as many as you like and then press the delete button.
  15. Bummer. I'll get there eventually. Some day I'll get annoyed at the plain text and do something about it.
  16. Are you getting an SSD drive with that? Those are both SSD drives. The second one, the M.2, basically plugs directly into the mother board. The other uses a standard SATA connection.
  17. Yeah updating Vin's Animated text is on my list of stuff to do. My list is too long and I don't have enough time. I do love that mod too and every time I play without it I feel the pang of guilt that I have not created updated versions @Mad Mike created a primer on how to do it. I have been following his work: A couple of notes - I only do the heavy version since it is the one I like and the grenade symbol should not be used even though it is very nice but the string gets used in a couple of places so looks goofy in the other location in the UI.
  18. No, there is no setting... oops you are probably talking about Battle for Normandy (the forum should have given me a clue: - ). For that game things are done differently. In the case of CMBN the Game Files directory is in the same directory as the game install. This is why the game defaults to a user folder (app data or my documents I cannot remember). Bottom line is the game and the scenario files are in the same folder.
  19. That is a good approach too. Glad you are sorted.
  20. LOL but neither of us would make very good generals - we should each be proclaiming victory. Agreed
  21. Well that's annoying. First see if the game will run - open File Explorer and navigate to the location where it is installed (default is c:\Program Files x86\Battlefront\Combat Mission\Red Thunder) and just double click on the game .exe file. If that works you can create your own short cut from the .exe file. Using the mouse right button click and drag the .exe item to your desktop or another folder of your choice and when the popup menu appears choose "Create shortcut here". That should then allow you to launch to the game - assuming double clicking on the game .exe file worked so to will the shortcut.
  22. I don't really need to look - I checked the bug list - it's a reported bug. No, I have no idea when we will see a fix but I will try to remember to put it on my list of stuff I think should get looked at when we get asked.
  23. We are close to seeing what the score is but I already feel like you won that battle. I defeated your AT assets and was still unable to press that advantage to clear the objective. So, while I have a toe hold on the objective I do *not* feel like I won this battle no matter what the score says in a few more minutes...
  24. The game looks for those files in the current user's documents folder. So, you have to look up the Windows (if you are on a Mac I have no idea) way to move the user documents folder. This looks relevant: https://www.pcworld.com/article/3025345/move-your-windows-10-libraries-to-a-separate-drive-or-partition.html Several of us have done it and it works.
